Oh dear god no. He's literally been one of the worst players in the league.

I like him when he was pretty good. I can't see Avery's hard headed, non-flexible scheme gives the productivity that Biedrins will get. The coaches I see helping him are Phil Jackson and Popovich.

Read the link with the interview on Al Jefferson regarding Biedrins.

These types of conclusions happen when you only look at stats.

No, your conclusions happen when you listen to other dumb jocks pumping up a practice player in a short anecdotal interview and ignore reality.

The dude has more or less been one of the worst players in the league for 3 seasons.

A change of scenery would probably only help him...if he choose to accept this mission...

He might actually fit here given Avery's penchant for preaching rebounding and defense. If he does just that, Avery will play him regardless of how he's doing offensively, which might give him the kind of confidence he needs.

Well to be honest, I was responding in theory and I wasn't really thinking of the Nets though I assumed you were...we already have a project in Blatche, one which has more upside imo...Andris is probably a bigger project than Blatche, though at 26 there's probably a few teams which might be interested in...2 major problems, he's injury prone pretty much the same injury and his confidence is shot to hell...

IF I say that I'd rather have Biedrins than Nene, would that get you going for a whole 'nother night? I meant it before, but now I'm just in it for the entertainment value!

We should trade brook lopez for ibaka and sefeloshia. We need more defense.

No thanks...Aldridge is a low-rebound rate chucker.

I'd love to get Aldridge but I fail to see a deal we could put together to bring him here. They would young assets and picks and the best we could offer would be Brooks, Toko, Hump, rights to any euro stashed players & 2 1st's.

Portland would never take that deal.

It's possible, but you would have to lose Brook in the process. Trade Brook to OKC for assets and Perkins, send the assets to Blazers and Perkins to the Nets, and Aldridge to the Nets.

OKC out- Perkins, PJIII, Dallas pick, and the Toronto pick.
OKC in- Brook Lopez

Portland-Aldridge
Porland- Humprhies, PJIII, Brooks, two picks, and Euro players.

Nets out- Lopez, Humphries, Brooks, rights to Euro players.
Nets in- Aldridge and Perkins.

Williams
Johnson
Wallace
Aldridge
Perkins

Not a great deal for the Nets and it would need some tweaking, but a deal is certainly possible.

I did a trade posted up on trade board which was very similar to this when Harden was still a Thunder. I had Harden going to the Blazers.

The Blazers decline
