Majorleads was the founding father of Isiah bashing. I was still a believer until about December 2005 when it was obvious Isiah's plan had failed. I then joined majorleads in the crusade against Isiah apologists who didn't give up apologizing until pretty much the bitter end. There are some who still excuse the man now. It's like he has some of magical hold over people. Even though that was the worst era to ever be a part of as a Knicks fan, the forum was at its' high point in terms of comedy and overall posting. There was, of course, the classic overrating of every Knicks scrub after a semi-decent game but that still occurs now. I really enjoyed that era of posting.

I remember when Mardy Collins had a good game against the Warriors I believe, and a whole bunch of people(me included) wanted to see a Nate/Mardy backcourt of the future

- DSN (DikembeSayNo): From what I remember, he was one of the firsts to have a "source." Him and his buddy GKF.
- Richard Hutnik: board game creator. I could be wrong, but I remember him being very sensitive when arguments arose and would leave at months at a time only to re-emerge eventually.
- Krokrony (or something like that): one of the first really memorable, really annoying posters. The dude would create like 10-15 new threads a day, some of which were so completely absurd and unneeded.
- Dr. Harvey: I remember when he first started posting, he created an introduction thread and everyone welcomed him with open arms. But his posting style and commenting began annoying the heck out of the majority of the board and he stopped posting.
- Jazz(FU): Back then, when there were arguments, each side disputed their perspective respectfully. He was such an intelligent poster. Even if he disagreed with someone, he wouldn't resort to insults or "u mad, bro?" comments. There was a period from like '04-'06, somewhere around that time, which I consider the "golden era" simply because of its posters like: Matchman, Powerforward99, TheBluest, Majorleads, H20, PornDoc, and others that I'm forgetting. Posts were more detailed and went into depth. It's funny b/c there were comparison threads back then too (Spreewell vs Houston for ex.), but I don't remember it ever turning into wars or to the point where people were on separate sides.

This board really goes through cycles. There's always an influx of new members, and with that, you'll get the occasional trolling poster, intelligent poster, etc. Just enjoy it and remember, it's basketball, so it's all good.

you're not a lurker, no way in hell

I'm confused. What do you mean by that?

Those crazybury imagea are hysterical.

Kind of miss the Knicks vs Bulls realgm rivalry caused by Curry, Crawford and Tyrus Thomas.

Great posters have strong opinions, more often than not. Unfortunately some people can't shrug that off. And that's no bash against our knicks mods, because I think they are all great and comparatively prudent. Then again every poster should recollect himself from time to time. There's no reason why a debate on the internet should result in a permanent ban.

So many good posters got waived and mugzi's still here. One of the greater mysteries in life.
