Jeremy Lamb with 33 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists tonight. I wish Brooks would've gave him more playing time, but I'm glad he's getting it now

Alexey Shved is clutch:

Timberwolves PR ‏@Twolves_PR

#Twolves rookie Alexey Shved scored 9 of his 16 pts in the 4th qtr & has now scored 83 of his 156 (53.2%) pts this season in the 4th qtr.

He's missing quite a few easy layups this year, I assume his %'s will improve as he gets more comfortable finishing at the rim with taller and more athletic defenders. He gets to the rim really easily too, he has great handles, a great first step, and he's strong enough to take contact and split double teams, 7-7 from the FT line tonight. I was a little pessimistic at the start of the season, but he's starting to look like he'll be a really nice compliment to Kyrie, especially in the Princeton offensive sets. Even LBJ and Wade had issues at first playing off eachother, but once Irving and Waiters develop a bit of a 2 man go to game, they are gonna be one of the best backcourts in the league. I'm really excited for Cleveland's future finally

DLeague .....

If you never saw Jeremy Lamb play before, the last thing you would think after watching that game was man, this kid is too passive. He was straight gunning from the start. At halftime he was 3-15, but settled down in the 2nd half and was 10-21. Tried to take over late, made a few missed a few. But I loved his aggressiveness.

I expect Dion's efficiency to go back up when he learns to finish better and Kyrie comes to take some pressure off him.

He's playing decently but he's obviously not ready to be the main perimeter guy on the team yet.

he is one of those "special" rookies in the mold of the Ginobili/Rubio. type.. He is so ready and still with lot of room to improve. Once he improves his strenght is gonna be huge.. He is already a very crafty offensive player, and also a very active defender

I haven't watched many Wizards games as my first one was the latest against the Knicks and Beal looked good even if most of his point have been in garbage time. He's as what people said. Quick, great stroke and can put the ball on the floor.

Any of you guys have an idea how he fits with Wall in the long-term?

Jeffery Taylor deserves a lot of recognition for what he's done lately. 6 of his last 7 games, he's scored in double digits. He's an excellent defender already, hits the three at 40%, and has legit hops.

He's averaging 8, 2, 1, and a steal in 25 minutes, but the stats don't begin to describe the impact he's already having for us. He's doing exactly what Chandler Parsons did last season. He's going to be a really good role player for a long time. I can't believe we got him with a second round pick.

Jeff Taylor is one of those wierd cases where pretty much everyone knows he'll be good enough to be a legit impact NBA player, everyone knows he's good enough to be selected in the early\mid teens - yet everyone knows he'll only be picked late 1st/early 2nd and that loads of idiot people will pass on him.

I have no idea why that happens, but the Bobcats surely benefited from it.

I still can't believe my Kings traded their 2nd round pick for cash, I was really hoping he'll fall there, or that we'll trade up to grab him.

If he just occasionally got foul calls I think his efficiency would improve. But, that's the NBA rookies just don't get calls even if deserved. Heck, we're still waiting for Kyrie to get calls he deserves.

In the games i've watched Waiters, he also misses quite a few layups, that I guess with experience he should be able to convert.

It's those stepback fadaway jumpers\3pt shots that bother me - but in general his fg% isn't much of a concern in my opinion by the current state of things.

If it continues next year, then yes - but I expect him to get over 40% next year.

As a cavs fan. This is the only game were i can truly say that Waiters is frustrating me to no end. I really want to uppercut this dude like seriously, he is refusing to attack the paint and is just settling for jumpshots....and there not falling today :banghead:

Edit: Waiters is seriously underrated as a playmaker, but that jumper needs to go away...

^15ppg on 15 shots. Yikes. He reminds me a bit of Dwade when he attacks the basket though...he's not the same layer, but he has a lot of the same herky jerky moves.

Zeller with a great game tonight. 14 points, 10 boards, 2 blocks, 2 assists & some very clutch play in the OT's.
