thornton for nelson and collison

Post#1 » by runfast1 » Sat Dec 1, 2012 9:36 pm

Need some advice guys...
Should i trade my thornton for nelson and collison?

Thornton has been horribly one dimensional in only giving me 3's and points, and thats on a low efficiency.

I like the idea of having jameer, but it seems he is so fragile lately, but i also believe he can give me the production of what thornton was putting out plus assists.

as for collison, he is coming up behind fisher now, but i am not sure what that will mean for his production. he is also coming off an injury.

this is a 12 team league, and my only other pg's are billups and pargo. really need some decent pgs...

I'd do it. No way does Fisher start long term.

Tyreke Evans (knee) will not play against the Clippers on Saturday.
Tyreke is dealing with a bruised left knee and is listed as day-to-day. The Kings won't play again until Wednesday after Evans misses Saturday's game, so we'd expect him to be ready for that game against the Raptors with a full week of rest. Marcus Thornton will start and Francisco Garcia was back in the rotation on Saturday. The Kings play three games next week.

Clearly do the trade. Even if Collison comes off the bench long-term, he'll get 30mpg. He'll be a mid-tier PG3. I don't like Nelson but even he is more valuable than Thornton.

Avoid Kings like the plague!
