I don't know how much of the Heat you've watched the last few years, but Wade has a very good post game. He isn't using it nearly enough this year.

I dont have a problem with the numbers, my problem is with the effort. If he is not 100%, then play him 25 minutes and use Ray, MM and JJ more, dont ride him with 38 lazy minutes

Wade can't be the Wade of old because Lebron has the ball in his hands all the time which is where Wade shines. Reverse the roles and no one would be talking about Lebron and MJ in the same sentence. It's the way it is. It's the sacrifice he made to win championships.

Let me preface what I'm about to say with this: I haven't gone through all of the replies in this thread and Dwyane Wade has been my favorite player in the NBA ever since I started watching him.

BUT

Wade has really aged quicker than most. All of those drives to the basket have taken a huge toll on his body. He no longer has the same lift that he used to get and I've noticed this for a couple of years now. He hardly gets any lift on his drives to the basket and he hardly ever tries to dunk any more as a result. He used to sky over guys like KG and Duncan for jams with no problem but those days are long, long gone. He needs to learn how to adapt and he should use more of that bank shot that he used so frequently during his first few years. I hope he retires as a member of the Heat and I think that he is the kind of guy who understands that if he needs to make some sacrifices in terms of a salary it will be for the betterment of the team.

lol...Wade can't be the "Wade of old" simply because he is no longer 26. Wade will be 31 next month and as you age it's important to make adjustments to your game if you want to compete at an elite level for years to come.

With that said, he looked pretty good around All-Star Break at one point, so I wouldn't be surprised to see another strong stretch from him like that again this season.

In more ways than one. People claiming Wade can't be as good as he used to because of Lebron and Bosh are crazy. It's not like Wade has been this way since Lebron and Bosh came to town, up until last night he just was playing poorly the first 10-15 games of the season. No reason not to expect Wade to be capable of this.

Wade should take a page or two out of Andre Miller playbook. Even when he loses all of his athleticism, there is no reason why he can't do what miller does, he has all the tools, the vision, the post game, the feel etc...

Really good to see Wade contributing as usual. I hope he gets even much better than that.

As long as he's healthy when the playoffs start, we have nothing to worry about. Wade is still Wade.

Wade + LBJ last night = 20/41, 22rebs, 14ast, 59 pts, 5stl, 3 blk.

Pretty amazing. Not many players in the league can be as effective as Wade especially playing alongside a player like LeBron who is also most effective with the ball in his hands.

So happy Wade is healthy and strong, he is playing so well since december I guess he will finish the season with 22-23 ppg on 50% shooting.
