The lack of poise, aggressiveness, and toughness that the Nets displayed in the 3rd qtr was appalling.

For a team that prides itself on being physical and tough, they played like bitches in the 2nd half of this game.

And the ball movement and team play that had us looking great in the 1st half gave way for isolation sets and SLOPPY ball movement.

Inexcusable. I'm not even hyped for tuesday.

I think we'll put it together against them on Jan 30th.

That was not 48 minutes of good effort.

getting roflstomped 32-19 in the 3rd was shameful.

And on another note, Joe Johnson needs to be slapped in the mouth.

It's the garbage that I've seen him pull off this season that makes me wish that the NBA didn't guarantee player contracts.

He gets lost on defense AND offensive sets, he has a hard time keeping up through screens, he plays way too risky defensively, he doesn't know the right time to make the right defensive plays, he sometimes gets to shot happy.

These are the reasons why he doesn't play. The bench mob outscores opposing benches most of the games we played already. His skills are just not useful for us.

I mean 24 minutes. Lack of sleep this week is really killing me.

Don't disagree there. He looks like he's taking nights off now that he has Deron and Wallace to rely on. He's played with much more effort against Miami the last few seasons, nothing about his game has changed either. He's looking Amare/Gasol-esque lazy.

What the heck happened to Joe Johnson? This guy use to average 25ppg on 47/38%...

He doesn't rely on athleticism, so whats up with him?

Avery just doesn't know how to use JJ and more specifically Deron. It doesn't help that he hasn't put him into positions to score the ball at a decent percentage.

Did you? He averaged 45% on FG shooting which is an average of his career. He averaged 55TS% which was the highest in a few seasons as a Hawk. His USG rate was 24 which was less going all the way back to his first season with the Hawks. Highest PER since 2009 as well even if it's an overused stat.

Try again. He's clearly playing like he's lazy if you pay attention to our games, it has nothing to do with physical decline considering he can defend perfectly well which is way more taxing than shooting or scoring. Go ask Jerry Stackhouse.

No just as an in general cause you're a massive troll and not the funny entertaining type.

The GB will be your ultimate demise, probably by Christmas.

Your original comment was "what happened to the 25ppg on 47/38%" guy .... I simply pointed out that guy is long gone. You call it "playing lazy" I call it decline; to each his own.

Don't really see the need for you to post all these shooting percentages ... one would assume he as well as William's shooting will improve to at least respectable numbers.

Thanks for the heads up Miss Cleo ... I'll plan accordingly.

That is, if the Mayans don't get to me first.

So, if one would assume he and Williams will improve then why come in talking about decline? Lol

Because I don't believe he is capable of another 25 ppg season at this point in his career ... more like 18.

He and Williams shooting at least 45% from the field should be expected as the season goes on, I would hope.

What's mostly annoying about blowing some of these big leads is Avery doesn't know when to call TO's he does it when it's too late :(

I got to say....I admire Lebron and he's great for the game But he gets so many calls it gets annoying
