I blame myself for the Dolphin loss after fumbling the game thread

Priority #1 Stuff Cutler to Marshall

Injury update:

Seahawks-

Red Bryant (DE) has a lingering foot issue that explains some of his run stopping problems of late.

Bears

O-line is gimply all over

Things to Watch:

1. Attention to Marshall
Hopefully focus will not be a problem for Browner an Sherman. hehe sorry.

2. Run D
What a difference a few weeks makes in the perception of our defensive strengths. We've been getting gouged over the last few weeks of football. It hurts to see late drives blow us up in an area that we have had success in traditionally under the Carroll regime.

3. Wilson on fire
The dude has been playing as the 3rd best QB in the league of the last 5 weeks. Seems to be we used to say our success depends on him getting better and now we say "as long as someone else doesn't screw it up"

4. Road blues
I'm hoping for a law of averages win here.

Predictions-
Bears 24 Seattle 21

This has been a crazy first half. Just about every bounce or call that could go against the Seahawks has, and some how they are tied and driving at the end of the half. I think that's as much about the Bears inability to capatilize on opportunities more than anything else but I'll take it.

Goddamn refs just touch a touchdown away from the Seahawks. Why not?

We lose to the dolphins and then win this game? Go figure.

if it's okay with the nfl, i'm giving wilson credit for two game winning drives this afternoon. he had two coming in to today, now he's got four.

glad we got the win after taking that dump in miami last week.

not saying it'll be easy, not saying it will happen... but... there's no reason why we can't win out and finish 11-7. we can beat the niners in seattle. we're good at flying cross-country, and the bills are more than beatable. and that just leaves arizona and st. louis.

Great win, but it's not all sunshine and roses though. Just as the offense comes alive the defense again looks like a big area of concern. Knowing we might be without our top two CB soon and seeing Trufant struggling with a hamstring [even when he's looked close to finished all year long] has me worried. I don't know where the pass rush is but things just haven't been working recently.

But on the bright side, I thought Walter Thurmond looked good in the slot and Malcolm Smith looked good in place of Leroy Hill. Hill bring some pass rush ability, but Smith has speed to spare and seems a lot better bet in pass coverage against opposing TEs.

I don't know at what point this has been said enough, but if anyone still any doubts about whether RW is the future of this franchise at the QB position those doubts have to be gone. A 97 yard TD drive with 3:00 minutes to go? An 80 yard TD drive to win in OT? His poise is insane. He was in complete control at the game wound down. On the road. In a very hostile environment. Against one of the best defenses in football.

He just made so many great decisions late. Scrambling for a first down and getting out of bounds right before the two minute. A laser beam on the run over the middle to Sidney Rice. His decision making was quick and definitive.

I'm so impressed with him. There is no way we come away with this win last year.

Also, what a great effort by the WR corps. My opinion on Tate has completely shifted. I was so frustrated with his struggles with the little things, but in the last 6 weeks he has turned into an absolute beast. A guy his size shouldn't come up with as many contested deep balls as he does, and that will to get into the end zone on his late TD was something you just don't see very often. He's turning into Steve Smith. Anybody who follows RW on Twitter can tell that he and Golden have developed a friendship this season, and I think that positive influence has been extraordinary.

As much as a #1 WR would be cool to find in the draft, the way Rice and Tate have been has made that less of a priority to me. Baldwin's also getting back to where he was last year, too.

If Denver beats TB today, we'll be a game ahead of them and MIN for the 6th seed. MIN has a brutal closing schedule with GB, Houston, and Chicago. TB still has ATL and at NO. Both also have the rams. There's a chance 9-7 gets it done.
