Post#1 » by hands11 » Wed Dec 5, 2012 3:51 am

I dont remember one form the first game.

Hey, we are 2-1 over the last 3 games.

2-2 over the last 4 games.

Robert Griffin III. Just his mere presence can make even the worst teams win.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

I thought the Wizards just might win when it was announced RG3 was in attendance.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

I vote black Jesus (RG III). He walked on water, water was turned into wine, the Heat missed easy shots (prophesied against false prophets), and the Wiz made shots (healed the sick).

POG to Seraphin (big rebounds and shots down the stretch) or maybe Crawford

Crawford. When Wade hit a long 3 late in the 2nd half that juiced up all the Heat fans at the Verizon ctr, Jordan came right back and hit an even longer 3. And he did it with attitude. Great game to be at.

Seraphin. He scored a bunch on very good efficiency and he did the job on the boards. He was also one of the only players who could get a bucket down the stretch once Miami picked up the D.

1. Seraphin
2. Crawford
3. Singleton

Seraphin hands down... He had 8 HUGE 4th quarter points.

HM to Ray Allen for going 0-6 on 3s when it mattered down the stretch.

Considering those are the shots he misses 80% of the time... I would not necessarily applaud him for this.

Don't hate....Crawford has had a very solid year thus far. 2-3 of those baskets that Seraphin got down the stretch last night were off of nice dishes from JC.

Crawford gets no love from this board but if you're sitting behind the Zards bench like I was last night you can tell that JC's coaches and teammates love him, especially his toughness and heart.

Cue for payit forward and Nivek to arrive with efficiency stats on Crawford!
Making extreme statements like "only" sounds like there are "no" Jokics in this draft? Jokic is an engine that was drafted in the 2nd round. Always a chance to see diamond dropped by sloppy burgular after a theft.

Crawford had a great game. 22 points on 16 shots; maybe his most efficient shooting night of the year. Sometimes those shots fall.. doesn't change the fact that they were still bad shots.

So any shot Crawford takes is a bad shot? Sounds like you need to take your blinders off as it relates to JC.

I like Crawford's toughness and competitiveness. I wish it came with better on-court decision making and skill. He takes a lot of bad shots -- some of which go in. I do like that his assists and rebounds are up, both of which are things the Wizards need. But, the Wizards need his shots to go in more frequently than they do.

Crawford seems to me the embodiment of John Wooden's maxim: Don't mistake activity for achievement.

That sounds way harsher than I intend because I really do like a lot about Crawford. I just wish he was a better player.

Your kidding me right? I just said he had a great game.. I didn't say all his shots were bad, but he had a handful of ill-advised shots at key moments. I think your the one wearing blinders if you think a 30 foot contested 3 is a good shot.

It's frustrating rooting for Crawford because he does take FAR too many bad shots. While I think it has gotten better, JC's decision-making is awful at times. As Zard fans, we all want (and need) for Crawford to be a better player and for him to make more shots...but, then again, you can say that about most NBA players.

What's most important is that a young player show improvement, and I think we're seeing some of that from JC this year.

I'll go with Craw w/ honorable mention to Keveeen.

The 3 at the end of the half was huge.

I'm fine with Crawford when he drives to the basket. I'm fine when he shoots from the corners, where he is most efficient.
