Does anyone know what the deal is with Boston?

Garnett/Fab Melo/Darko/Collins
Bass/Wilcox*/Sullinger
Pierce/Green

There is no way they keep both Darko and Collins is there ? If either is released before the season starts one would serve as a great stop gap back up center with Nene being out; better than the alternatives (Barron/Cook/Randolph)

Darko of couse is better, but even Collins would still be a better option than what we have going on now.

I worry when I hear "Darko is better...."

Better than S. Darko, at least.

PS: I guess that's debatable.

Delonte West anyone? The Mavs just cut him after two suspensions. I know he's been a problem in the locker room so far, but he's a good player and would easily be the best PG here w/ Wall out.

I heard about a suspension, but what is he getting in trouble over? I saw him play at least once last year and it looked like he'd barely lost a step, but with his history, I can't see him coming here.

His first suspension was because of a locker room outburst. Not sure why he got suspended again though. Was listed as "conduct detrimental to the team."

We probably have the worst PG rotation in the league. I'd probably bite.

From a basketball standpoint, I can see the appeal. However I think the Wizards have been trying to field a team with guys who work hard without a lot of drama. He would not fit that direction.

I think even with his issues he should attract a good amount of interest. For most teams he would be an upgrade at back-up PG or SG. I can see younger teams passing, but older teams that need back-court depth will likely be very interested.

He'd help us on the court, no question. But off the court? I'd like to know why he got canned.

We have some of the worst team doctors. With all the problems with Arenas, Blatche etc. I dont think our team psychiatrists are much better unfortunately.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Agreed. No rebuilding team would touch him.

The Los Angeles Lakers waived Andrew Goudelock on Saturday, trimming their roster down to 15 players.

Goudelock was the 46th overall pick of the 2011 NBA draft.

Should we take a look at G-Lock? He actually can stroke the ball, I think he never really gotta fair chance in LA due to Kobe being Kobe. We could use more SG depth and honestly if we can pickup G-Lock it could move JC to PG more with Wall out.

Should we sign Shaun Livingston? Should we take a risk with Delonte West i know wizards wanted to get rid of knuckle heads but he's very talented.

Yes, please- on Livingston that is.

C'mon Ernie- do it. Should never have let him go in the first place.

Not signing Livingston would be a huge mistake IMO. Even when wall comes back it would be nice to have a decent player like him. He is a big upgrade over Pargo...I hope they don't think since he hasn't had time with the current players he'd be bad investment.

Yes to Shaun Livingston, he isn't a savior, but he is a better PG than Pargo/Price.

Owwww. Things are getting interesting. I was hoping he would become available. I wish he had never left and have been in favor of them bringing him back this off season.

Obviously he has ties to the Wizards.

Wall, Price, Livingston. I could live with that.

Othyus Jeffers is also free now. :D

Hi Hands -- this is the guy you called "Mitt" with a question: what you say above seems to imply that you think Livingston is better than Pargo.

But... what if Ernie doesn't dump Pargo for Livingston? Wouldn't that mean that Pargo is better? I mean Ernie being an outstanding, experienced NBA GM (in your opinion), how could that not be true?

I actually think wizards will be better.

Houston was 34-32, the Wizards 20-46 last year. Houston is stocked with assets going forward, the Wizards, not so much. Houston has Golatas, the Wizards? The whimper puppies.

Remember golatas? :-) We had a pretty-good discussion this Summer about Houston on the first page of this thread, Houston is currently the 6th seed in the West and have emerged from Dwightmare looking good. Morey has some huge golatas.
