So, it's already half time and since no thread was there I opened this one.
We trail the Bulls 35 - 37.
PG seems to be in attack mode but overally we're shooting horribly.

Pacers win 80 - 76!!!!
A very important win, guys. Great job
Paul George played great, West had 2 clutch FTs, Roy had the clutch block and Ian played good as well.
Hooray

Re: Game 18: Pacers @ Bulls
It's always great to beat Chicago.
The good- Paul George had a monster rebound game. His game has been off last few games but you knew it would be short lived. He was the super star we have been waiting for with his game tonight. He was making tough shots, playing excellent defense and doing the small things. Felt good having a star on the court on our team for once.
The bad- George Hill and David West shot a combined 6-28. When two of your better players have nights like these, you're lucky to win, essp against a solid Bulls team.
The ugly- Late in the 4th quarter (15 sec i think), Frank Vogel calls a time-out. And the play he decides is genius to use, was a play that runs the clock off a bit and then give it to David West for a 20 foot jump shot? Thats the best we can come up with? Reminded me of that game earlier this season (vs. Kings?) where the play after the timeout of a tied game resulted in a West three-point shot. Very bizarre.
Few notes-
*Pacers end road trip 3-1.
*Pacers only committed 12 turnovers, pretty solid, considering the Bulls lethal defense.
*Pacers have won 6 of their last 9.
*After starting the season 3-6, we're now tied with Milwaukee and Chicago for first place in the Central.

I posted something similar on PD (PacersDigest) and another regular threw out a good reason why this could happen.
Basically, Vogel was afraid that if he went to PG, he'd turn the ball over (or shoot a contested shot that leaves his man streaking down the court). So, he decided to play it as safe as we could (notice that Hill took a minimum number of dribbles) and just bang on the D to give us the win.

Great win, hopefully George and Hibbert can keep this play up.
The best part is the Bulls fans crying about that non call on Hibbert.
