It wasn't that they were not good, it was there was no hope whatsoever. I did not see the Knicks going anywhere with the likes of Jermone James, Eddy Curry, and other big contract players who did not produce. I really did not see a reason to watch. Thank god for Nate and David Lee during those times. The Knicks were still my team, I just did not closely watch or follow the NBA in general during those times.

I personally went to a lot of games during Isiah era thanks to super discounts (and MD's first two seasons). I can't afford to go to a game anymore. On the positive, I believe I have an above .500 record for the games I attended. My biggest regret is not to purchase tickets aggressively last season before Linsanity happened. Stubhub ticket prices practically quadrupled within a week or so.

I just like this because of thought of "bandwagon" when I saw it. Plus I thought Prig looks pretty cool with jorts and a Knicks t shirt.

Definately not my ford, I did not even know it was a ford.

Shpati21 wrote::lol: @ the Isiah years. The team had no chance of winning, even with that payroll. I was not that big of a Knick fan back then. I missed 2-3 seasons completely.

The fact that the team and some of the fans, including myself, knew winning was out of the question, and were just mad that they lost the brawl.

So...The Knicks were not good back then so you didn't watch them? But now that we are good, you're back to being a fan?

Bandwagon? :o :)

I watched the Knicks in the Layden era. Lost interest big time when Isiah made things bad. Then I got interested again once Donnie Walsh took over.

My attendance at Yankee, Knicks and Jets games has decreased yearly thanks to ticket prices...I saw more Knicks games when Crawford was the go to scorer...which is depressing.

lol If you say so. I just could not find myself to care about a team with a gm who does not care. felt like a waste of time.

So you were not curious at all? I don't know the definition of a fan, but you would think being a fan of a team means you are somehow interested in what your team is doing. I might be wrong though.

Yea I was curious. I just read the sports section in the paper to see their standings, tranactions, and stuff. And I went to the game when they were in town. I don't regret going out of my way to closely watch them, especially since I didn't have cable or internet back then.

So you were following the team but you didn't have access to the live games. Well, you were following the team then.

it's really getting expensive to go to the games.
i've been twice this year (mavs/suns), but if they keep up i'll have to watch them on tv.
it's too bad as my kids started last year to really get into it, but it just too much money.

maybe i should point out to the front office they have a PERFECT RECORD over 3 seasons in the games they have watched in person, at MSG and away (jersey)

Don't mean to bump but I just remembered a thread that vbfduderocks (or something like that) started years ago after Sundov had a decent stat line. He typed out a whole rap using the Drop It Like it's Hot chorus and incorporating Sundov into it. It was hilarious. Too bad everything pre-2008 was wiped out.

I think this thread will go down in history, earning the OP a sig just like Crazyknicks did.

Aggo, great tongue and cheek, remember the times, creative bonding thread.

I haven't read all pages, yet! But, I would like to chime in on the very intense Political Thread with Mugzi versus Kane, True Warrior, Ibraheim, Pharmcat, Wingo (whom he called WINGpocrisy) and others.

Mugzi hammered everyone about their objectivity, or lack thereof and can never agree with anyone's disscourse. Everyone was called a communist hack and lacking in intelligence. Mugzi was of his chains.
