Timberwolves PR ‏@Twolves_PR

#Twolves have limited opponents to under 90 pts eight times after doing so on 10 occasions last yr & a combined nine times from 2009-11.

Timberwolves PR ‏@Twolves_PR

#Twolves allowing 92.3 ppg, a 7.8 ppg improvement from last season (100.1 ppg), good for the best scoring defense improvement in the @NBA.

That's nice but only pace adjusted ppg stats matter.

In the stats vein, two interesting stories on the SportsVU Camera system the Wolves are using.

Interesting stuff. I wondered recently why Love always gets back on defense rather than rebounding freethrows, probably to lessen the load on him. 3d farthest distance run per game in the NBA, yeesh.
