I agree that he would likely make it the 2nd round or possibly the ECF.

I'd guess ECF too, plenty of shooters on the team to suround LeBron with.

i think he could take them to the finals
i don't know why anyone would doubt him considering he did with the cavs multiple times.

The Magic play hard and have a bunch of players who understand their role. He could probably get them to the EC finals

I think he could get them to the finals. This Magic roster is better than what he had in Cleveland. Also he wouldn't have to worry about Miami.

I'd say ECF, possibly finals. Main comp would be healthy rose bulls, knicks, celtics, bklyn, indy, and healthy wade heat...I don't know if any of those are definitely better. Maybe bulls and celtics if fully healthy.

Jacque Vaughn seems like a pretty decent coach, so they could be pretty good, 50-53 wins, second round or ECF loss since I'm not sure what the Miami team is supposed to be in this hypothetical.

In addition to the starters, J.J. Redick off the bench is nice too. The reason this works so well is that you would be replacing their west starting positions.

Probably about 5 steps. LeBron's a strong dude but Big Baby is a big boy.

ECF or NBA Finals, not lower than this.

Only NY or Brooklyn can beat this team (Miami would be out of question without him).

Doubt it.

Probably fight for 6th-7th spot.

He can't beat Boston, New York, or Brooklyn with that lineup because those three teams have good players from 1 through 5. Miami would be significantly worse, but still have more power throughout the lineup.

Boston
New York
Brooklyn
Miami w/o LeBron
Atlanta
Orlando w/ LeBron
Chicago
Indiana/Philly

You really have high respect for the 10-8 Celtics that are miserable defensively when Garnett is on the bench.

Nelson at pg over NYK-ATL-IND-Mia
Afflalo at sg over NYK-ATL-CHI-IND with George playing sf
LBJ at sf over everybody
BBD at pf over NYK with amare out
Vucci at C over Bos with KG a pf-NJ with Lopez out-MIA-
JJ Redick as 6th man over - ATL-CHI-IND-BKLYN

that team with the best player on the planet makes ECF at least, Lebron getting wide open shots for Redick and Afflalo and Jameer being the best pg LBJ would have ever played with.

LOL

:D

these Lebron threads are awesome

Lebron couldn't even get past the ECF with the Cavs for years, why would you think he could lead this Magic team to the finals? Ridiculous.

He couldn't even win it with two franchise players alongside in 2011.
:o LeBron is 0-7 in game winning/tying FGs in the finals. And is 20/116 or 17% in game winning/tying FGs in the 4th/OT for his career. That's historically bad :o

Fourpeat at worst.

Because back then he had the Dwight Howard Magic and Celtics to get through. Right now SF is the position that Orlando is most hurting at, they are starting a very raw rookie in Harkless with undrafted rookie Daquan Jones backing him up. Their rotation is pretty solid besides that, Jameer and the surprisingly effective E'Taun Moore at PG, Afflalo and Redick at SG, Big Baby and Nicholson at PF and Vuc/Ayon at C. Top three seed in the east and ECF easy, not entirely sold on the Knicks yet so i don't see a finals trip as being out of the question.
