Rio out 7-10 days. Time for Norris to step up

Post#1 » by LEIF » Wed Dec 5, 2012 8:21 pm

I am looking forward to seeing Norris Cole get a chance to get the lion's share of minutes at PG. his offense and more importantly his defense have been getting better by the minute he plays. Great chance to gain more experience.

Yup let's hope he's u to the challange.

Rio going down does make me wonder if we should consider Delonte West for the Vet minimum.

Rooting for Cole to show we dont need another PG.

we have Cole and LeWade so we dont need another PG. Let Harris or JORTS play

No Delonte, please. Dude's a loon. I'm fine with letting Hollywood get some extra work. Should be interesting to see how he handles getting heavy minutes with the starters vs the NYK.

I like what I've seen out of Cole thus far. One of the things that I really like about him is that he's a quick decision maker and he's pretty careful with the ball. It looks like he has also improved his stroke.

I'm excited to see him go up against Felton. I don't think Felton can keep up with Cole and I expect the Heat to try and push the pace on the Knicks this time.

So long as he stays under control and picks his spots we will be good. Should be better defensively

With four players nursing injuries, coach Erik Spoelstra said he will decide before tip-off if guards Norris Cole and Mario Chalmers and forwards Shane Battier and Udonis Haslem will play. Chalmers (finger) and Haslem (hip pointer) sustained injuries in Thursday's loss to the Wizards. Spoelstra confirmed Chalmers tore a ligament in the finger while trying to catch a pass.

I've never wanted to punch someone in the face so badly. Really hoping to run into him at a game one day. I won't hesitate.

Please have UD sit and rest. I'd love for Jorts to go off on his former team and make a huge impact on the game.

We saw him in pre-season and he looked good. compare his stats from last year, his damn rookie season, and the'yre better across the board then Haslem's.

I have faith in Cole. I've always wanted to see him going up against the other team's best guards, and now he'll get that chance. Hopefully Rio can recover quickly and completely, and get our PG rotation back to normal.

Jorts seems to be last on the center depth chart. I don't know if we can guess why other than he's not impressing the coaches enough in practice to even crack the rotation. PEACE.

Cole > Rio

Rio hasn't done anything this season. Cole plays better d and can drive and shoot.

Rio and Cole are not starting caliber PG's. Bring in Delonte West.
