It would need to be a three team trade to get Ryan. Hornets definitely don't want a 32 year old Center on a rebuilding team so you'd have to send Gasol to a contending team for it to work. Gasol to NJ. Brook to No, and Ryan to the Lakers.

This actually makes sense because the Nets want to be players in the 2014 LeBron sweepstakes. Gasol's deal expires at that time, but in the mean time it give them a all star center in Pau.

Anderson is 24, Pau is 32. If I was a Hornet fan. I look at that and say. Why would I want a old used players for an up and coming player that is 8 years younger and a cost a ton less. I would love the trade, but business sense say it is just not going to happen without a lot of help and them dumping there season. Maybe we can put it in there minds that Pau can be flipped for better players for them later on...
