Have not seen much of McLemore, but I am a fan of Poythross out of Kentucky. He's by no means a top 5 pick, but I still think he's got a lot of upside

Who IS matter of factly a T-5 pick?
Shabazz - 100% in T-5
Zeller - 75-80% in T-5
Noel - 75-80% in T-5
Len - 50%+ in T-5
I don't think anyone really knows who is or isn't a T-5 pick at this point. One very early mock (Chad Ford IIRC) had Poythress going #1 early on in the season.

There will be 1 or 2 guys from this draft that surprise and become beasts. Only problem is that by the nature of them being 'surprises', it's harder to pin point who they could be.

Damn are you serious?! I had never heard of him till I watched the Duke v Kentucky game. Reminds me of Kidd-Gilchrist. I wonder if Orlando considers him if he's available with Harkless around

Ummm I am not fluent in ghetto, but did S Jax just threaten to bust a nut in Ibakas mouth?!?!
Following Ibaka's physical altercation with Metta World Peace in Friday night's Thunder win over the Los Angeles Lakers, Jackson posted on his verified account: "Somebody tell serg Abaka. He aint bout dis life. Next time he run up on me im goin in his mouth. That's a promise. He doin 2 much."

Haha, that is exactly what I thought. First time I read it I did a massive double take thinking surely i misread, but nope, that is exactly what it sounds like.
Could anyone translate this?

Get in his face, punch him in the mouth. Not bust one in his mouth, at least not until he punches him in the mouth first.

Well just thought you guys should know here in LA for the last week the media and fans have been KILLING Dawhite. they spent a whole week talking about his free throws, and alot of fans think he's mentally weak, if things don't change soon, he blames his teammates in the media all the time, never talks about what "HE" can do better nothing has changed
aol4532 on bill russell
I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt. XLIX"Reg. Season"Ed.)
I think in the end the Lakers will be a pretty good team but if Dwight insists on being an offensive option, they won't win a championship. They could still be pretty good when Steve comes back. If anyone can pull this out it would be him and Kobe, two of my favorite players that I now want to lose.
Dwight is gonna have a hard time out there, as he would in any large market. He pretty much wore out his welcome here as well and we adored the man. Careful what you ask for big guy.
Way back when, John Smoltz was struggling enough that he got a sports psycologist to help him with the mental aspect, they would sit the dude behind home plate for games so he could see him. Not the most macho thing ever if you are an athlete but it would be hard to argue that it didn't work. I don't know what Dwight has to do to be passable at shooting free throws but I know he doesn't have the head to figure it out or the ego to let someone help him.....with his head.

He has had a couple games over 7 assists here in the past 2 weeks, but did you see him turn the ball over with a horrible pass that led to a fast break which put Lakers in the hole with minutes left?

Provin Ya'll Wrong!!!

Yup, that turnover was the nail in the coffin at least for me. I just love how he's probably done more as a Laker than his time here in Orlando.

He has been piling up assists over there. But, you have to understand that when you have players like Kobe, Dwight and MWP out there, then someone is always going to be open for an easy pass. Hence, Diener could average 10 assists on that team. But, somehow Derek Fisher never averaged many assists.

I'm surprised anyone could average more than 5 assist on the lakers with Kobe needing the ball 95% of the time, hence I'm surprised Duhon is averaging those kind of numbers. I mean look at Sessions, the guy struggled in LA and he goes to Charlotte and he seems way more comfortable with the ball. Granted it's Charlotte I know, I just think with a guy like Kobe on your team in constant demand of the ball it puts a damper on a pg setting up the offense. That's why Nash needs to look at Kobe when he's on the floor and just tell him, "I got this."

Yup all that freedom is why Ramon Sessions is having his fantastic shooting season.
37.4% FG
19.4% 3PT
Awesome.

Well I stand corrected the few times that I looked at the box score for a Charlotte's game I saw that Ramon had a decent night but I figure it was just that night.
