Packers Possible Offseason Trade

Post#1 » by marvkimi » Sat Dec 8, 2012 8:45 pm

With Jennings going to be a free agent and him not being the number one that we need I suggest that the Packers do something drastic to upgrade the positions they need. I know everyone is going to say no, that is impossible but listen to the offer and then determine if it makes sense for both teams: The Packers would trade - James Jones (WR), James Starks (RB), Jerimichael Finely (TE), Mike Neal (DT), Sam Shields (CB), MD Jennings (S), a Second Round Draft Pick, and Next years First to the Airzona Cardnals for Larry Fitzgerald (WR), Darnell Docket (DT), O'Brian Schofield (LB), Adrian Wilson (S), 3rd round pick this year, and Fourth and Fifth next year. Dockett, Wilson and Fitzgerald are starting to get unhappy with the losing and want to go to contenders. Schofield played at UW so threw him in their because the pack could always use a LB. I do not know the contract status of the players maybe some of them are free agents and this trade would have to be re-worked. I would not care if the Packers traded Jones, Neal, Finley, Shields, and Jennings and two first for those four players. They want to be out of Arizona bad and the Packers could use them. Finley has definetly warmed out his welcome and we would do much better by Letting Donald Retire, Jennings leaving in Free Agency and getting Fitz. Fitz is such a great reciever that it would be a tremendous upgrade over anyone out their. I know it is fantsy but would like to see if the pack could pull it off due to the unhappiness with any QB in Arizona and Docket got fined huge this past week and we can absorb everyon'es salary.

Welcome to the board. Unfortunately this would never happen in the NFL.

I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Even if trades like this ever happened in the NFL we wouldn't be giving up nearly enough for Arizona to consider it.

I dunno, getting out of that albatross Fitzgerald contract may be a enough regardless (and I like Larry Fitz). Though, I guess they could just cut him if they want to do that?
