Man, I never get tired of making these, 9 wins out of our last 10 and by far the most impressive win of the season came tonight in Memphis. Without further adue
Al Horford (6)
Kyle Korver (2)
Josh Smith (2)
Zaza Pachulia (1)
Notes: Behind a 20-0 run in the 3rd quarter we took the lead and never looked back, the main reason for that run was Lou Williams who connected on 3 shots from beyond the arc (would've been 4 had the shot clock not ran out on him), Lou finished with 21 points off the bench and shot 4-6 from 3 point land, he has to be the front runner for 6th man of the year; Al Horford went off yet again tonight, our model of consistency had his 5th straight game with a double double and his second straight with 14 rebounds, big Al finished with 19 points on 50% shooting (8-16) and the aforementioned 14 rebounds, he too was instrumental in the 20-0 run; another player who was huge in the 20-0 run was Josh Smith who again played like an all star tonight, he finished with a team high 24 points and snagged 8 rebounds along with 3 steals, he shot 10-17 from the field and even had most of his long distance shots go in; Jeff Teague is developing into a wonderful facilitator again having 6 assists (6 isn't a glamorous number but when you get 6 consistently then you deserve to be praised) to go along with 13 points on 6-13 shooting.
Just missed the Cut:
Larry Drew: He's been a great coach this season, just too much talent and good play tonight for him to get in. Sorry LD, keep up the good work
Zaza Pachulia: Great hustle from big Z tonight, he had 9 rebounds and is showing heart.

Though to pick one player. Al and Smoothe played bigger than their size and Lou was the scorer during that run, but I love Teague limiting opposing to a few assists and 6 TO while never losing the ball and having a couple of key steals or assists (Smoothe on the back door and Lou 3 pointer on the break). Good decisions, composure and poise from Teague. (Very) Impressive tonight!

Defense was the POTG tonight. That 20-0 run won it for us when EVERYONE chipped in on defense.
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

Re: Player of the Game
I want to give this to Josh, because he was balling the whole game and dominating offensively and defensively any SF that Memphis threw at him.
but i'll give this one to Lou. He was Iverson in the 3rd quarter and throughout the second half, he was bailing people out at the end of the shot clock, because the offense didn't know where to go.
