Now dalembert is unhappy with his role.... This deal is looking more likely....

Ultimate plan:

Pau gasol, earl Clark, Blake, and sacre....for Ellis, dalembert (expiring), and ersan

Flip Monta Ellis, darius morris, and devin ebanks for mo Williams (expiring), gordan hayward and a pick

Line up:
Nash/mo Williams/duhon
Kobe/meeks/djo
Artest/hayward
Ersan/jamison/hill
Dwight/dalembert/hill

The reason I rather flip Ellis is because, we won't be tied down financially and mo Williams would be perfect with Dantoni and hayward is a stud. Utah desperatly needs a sg. We already have Meeks and can use a solid pg off the bench.

Not bad. But I doubt Utah will do that trade.

i'm not saying this because i'm a raptor-homer or I want Bargnani out, but Bargs would look REALLY good on your team.

I think he's at the same level if not better than R. Anderson. The problem is his defence--yes, but that won't be a problem with having Dwight next to him. We never paired him with a true Centre. It was either with Bosh before or Amir Johnson last year or the rookie Val this year.

IMO the problem with his inconsistencies is that he's asked to be the first option on Toronto. The issue rests on the fact that he isn't, shouldn't and will never be a first option.

Put him on the Lakers and when he's a 3rd/4th option, he'll flourish.

If we trade for Bargs, will your fan base do us some cool sigs too?

I actually think this wouldn't be a bad trade, in theory, especially relating to a D'Antoni-run team...

- Makes Lakers younger

- Bargnani is more agile in general than Gasol

- Bargnani has respectable ability to score outside of shooting jumpers, just needs some selectivity in doing this with him... not sure about his passing but I doubt he's bad, and from bits and pieces I remember, he's not bad

- Inconsistent rebounder up to this point, generally not solid, but when focused is adequate there - but next to Dwight would I think would balance him out more I feel, less of a burden to do it, less offensive responsibility to think about as well would play into his rebounding

- Has legit length

- While there would definitely still be a relative "softness" element at PF, Dwight, Artest, Kobe, and Nash are tough-minded players, plus Jordan Hill (I hope for LAL's sake) and Jamison on the glass

Agreed the names Bargnani, and Williams in every Laker trade discussion is enough to make your head explode.

U guys should go after Lin. Rockets have no clue on how to use him. Mike has. If you can get Patterson along with him the better.

Lin can be the perfect understudy for Nash and a perfect PnR partner for Dwight who can catch alley-oops better than than the clumsy Asik.

it would be pretty wasteful to use assets to bring in an "understudy" for nash considering steve and kobe's age. nash/kobe probably demand trades right then and there.

Thats why an understudy is in order.nash is getting old and injury prone.Obviously you guys cant get an established elite PG to create chemistry with Dwight right now while Nash is still around because of your payroll and all. And Morey has Gasol in his radar since the 'basketball reasons' days.

Only trade Gasol if we can get an all star type of player in return. Not those garbage players from Raptors.

With Lin's contract, forget it. Although it would be kind of cool to have him start the ASG every year, at the expense of the 2-time MVP he backups and of course, Chris Paul.

Piston fan here, I come in peace...You guys should hold on to Gasol until a good deal for Josh Smith comes along...A LA/Minn/ATL deal would be perfect...D.Will, Perkovic, Barea, and Jordan Hill to the Hawks, J.Smith and Harris to the Lakers, then Gasol+future Lakers 1st rounder to the T'Wolves...Don't waste your time with Bargnani, that guy is garbage...

If were to trade with Minnesota and get pek and d.will, we won't trade them both for josh smith... Pek is the second best piece in that trade. I'm pretty sure we can get josh smith with d.will, Jordan hill, and ebanks.

Ya'll should try to get Kanter he is just rotting on Utah's bench and honestly when he does get minutes he plats fantastic!

Pau+filler and maybe a draft pick for Kanter+Bell+ maybe squeeze Hayward in  Though I'd think Kanter+ Bell alone would be great additions.

Jose + Bargs is interesting though. Jose has a great ability to get assists on the raptors imagine if he was around good players and in Mike D's system and then Bargs can score at least, dwight can clean up for him on rebounding  It would actually make a lot of sense imo for Gasol.
