No need to argue, overall, EPL still a better league than Serie A though, in terms teams depth, money & attendances.

Italy had 36 shots, 20 on target. England had 9 total.
Italy had %64 of possession too.
What's the point of bringing up national teams? English clubs aren't better than Italian clubs because of English players. Nobody is claiming that.

Most of the Italian national players play in Serie A and most of the England national team players play in Epl.
There is a great point if we are comparing two leagues. Don't you think?

No, i don't. Because it just so happens that there are more than 23 players in each league. In fact, there's more than just British players in England. They have the most money and they, along with Real Madrid and Barcelona, buy the best players.
The following link alone makes for a better comparison.

Exactly. The Arabs or rusky comes in to England and spent so much money that nobody knows where it is coming from and you are saying it is a great league? It is just unfair. City spent 500 million where arsenal spent 50. Give me a break. Italian league is way better, tougher and their 4th seed can still beat the hell out of epl's best team.

You are confusing moral superiority for actual superiority.
Besides, i don't remember the Italians complaining in the 90s and early 2000s when Berlusconi, Moratti, Sensi, Cragnotti, and the Agnellis where outspending everyone in Europe. And i would remember, i lived there then.

Even there italy doesn't have the moral high ground as their big teams are swimming in debt and match fixing scandals twice a decade.

Don't you guys see it?
Serie A is the best freakin soccer league in the world. Followed closely by the Süper Lig.
Every other league is straight trash.

Once you make it, okay good joke. Second, it is fine. But third time, I mean, if you have nothing to say just simply shut up.
Italian teams destroyed EPL teams within last 2 years. Juve will destroy Chelsea in Turin. If one of you think that Chelsea will win in Turin, let's bet, I am here. If you don't have balls to bet, then simply shut up if your argument is limited with stupid Super Lig jokes.
Italian national team just destroyed the overrated Germans too. Then that embarrassing game again for England against Italy like England was like San Marino.
So yeah, let's talk if you have something to say.

Re: Top 10 players in the world
You really can't base your arguement in one game. By your logic, U.S is better than Italy since they beat them 2-0 in their house. Germany is not overrated. The reached the WC final in 2002, 3rd place in 2006, Euro Final in 2008, WC 3rd place in 2010, and reached the semifinals in Euro 2012. If anything, these guys have been extremely consistent. Club wise, Bayern has reached 2 Champions league finals in 3 years. EPL teams have also done well in Champions league in recent years. Man U and Chelsea have won it and Man U has reached the finals twice and lost.
I don't hate on Italy or Serie A. They play gritty football and can beat anyone on any given day, but they are not in their best moment right now.

Re: Top 10 players in the world
Do you guys seriously read what people wrote? I based my argument on a lot of games.
Italy has beaten Germany in every major tournament. Germany hasn't beaten Italy in any MAJOR tournament. Total of 31 games, Italy won 15, draw 9 times. It says enough.
Let's look at the club level also. Let's take last 3 years of champions league.
Inter Milan 4-0 Werder, then Werder 3-0 Inter.
Roma 0-2 Munich, then 3-2 Roma won.
Inter Milan beat Bayern in the quarter final, then Schalke beat them.
Bayern 0-0 Juventus, then 1-4 Bayern won.
Bayern 2-1 Fio, then Fio beat them 3-2 in Firenze.
Inter destroyed the Munich in the final 2-0.
So it is not like Germans are superior over Italians. Italians played perfectly fine against them. I am not even looking at the Milan era in Champions League. I am looking at the period where Serie A has been declining and Bundesliga has been getting better. If we do the same research around 2002-2006 era, Italians would be way better.
Let's look at the England against Italy.
Last two times, Italy beat them in major tournaments. Total of 24 games, 9 England, 8 Italy, 7 draw.
CL matches were;
City 1-1 Napoli, Napoli 2-1 City. Don't get me wrong. City was the champion, Napoli was 4th seed in your terrible Serie A.
Napoli 3-1 Chelsea, then 4-1 Chelsea won.
Milan destroyed Arsenal 4-0, then they didn't play some of their main guys and 0-3 in London.
Inter Milan 4-3 Tottenham, then 3-1 Tottenham won.
So how come EPL teams are better than Serie A teams now? Plus as you said, their teams have been declining. Only Juve is so strong this year and we'll see, they will beat the Chelski in Turin.
As you can see, I don't base my argument on one game, I gave you tons of games.

I'm posting this in the spirit of a complete review but, ultimately, i don't believe head-to-head match-ups matter nearly as much as how successful each country's teams have been in the Champions League recently.
Anyway, in this particular analysis, depending on how far you'd like to go back (1 year, 3 years, 5 years, etc), they are either pretty even or England's been better.
Btw, in the past five seasons, England has produced five Champions League finalists to Italy's one. They won it twice, while the Italians won once.

Bolded one's dont belong to top-10 anymore IMO. Falcao has gotta be in top-10 at this point.

Ill be honest I have not seen much of Falcao so I cant put him in the top 10 yet. I will take a look at him though.

Agree. Also Rooney? He's not the best player on his team.

Those two deserve to be on the list. Mainly made that comment because RVP wasn't there. Rooney though great isn't Top 10 in my opinion. He's right on the fringe.
