Take the bye and let things sort themselves out, I'm never rooting for a Packers loss in any scenario.

Chuck, how long did it take you to figure out that scenario? Haha

Chuck? What the buck are u talking about bro?? ;-)
Anyway i imagined the scenario of the Vikings being one of the wildcard teams finishing ahead of the giants to knock them out of the playoffs last week (the list of teams potentially realistically finishing ahead of the giants for wildcard spots being the Vikings, the bears, the cowboys, the Seahawks, and the redskins). Then, after thinking about the outcome of this weeks games in relation to the packers schedule (being that we play two of those potential wildcard teams in our last three, the bears and Vikings), the dilemma of facing a choice in the final game against the Vikings in relation to us getting a bye and the Vikings slipping in as a wildcard ahead of the giants hit me. Inotherwords it didn't take me any time to think of the potential of that scenario, it just kind of came to me, but I'll admit it did take me a few minutes to look up the schedules of all the teams involved to confirm that it was a somewhat realistic possiblity...

That's funny cuz I'm pretty sure I agree, but I am left wondering what happened to folks on this board who just 2 or 3 weeks ago were actually hoping that the packers didnt get a bye in ANY scenario because they believed that getting a bye literally gave the packers a worse chance of advancing to the Super Bowl (as opposed to not having a two week lull period between games and hoping to get some road playoff games in warm weather cites or in domes).

I'd root for a loss in completely hypothetical scenario (obviously not possible this season) whereby the packers already have the #1 seed locked up (or the 2 seed locked up with no chance to get the 1 seed) going into the last week of the season and a loss would mean letting the team we were playing into the playoffs and knocking the giants out (as long as we weren't 15-0 with a perfect season on the line), but othewise I can't really think of any other scenario where I would want a packer loss so I pretty much agree with u. And I say that not because I FEAR the giants or whatever, but I'm all about maximizing the packers odds they advance to the owl and I truly believe the giants personnel matches up against us the best out of any team in the entire nfl (admittedly not exactly a controversial opinion lol)...

Injuries.

We had pretty much the same magnitude of injury troubles 3 weeks ago (arguably greater), that doesn't make sense. Plus those advocating not getting a bye were explicitly saying that even IN SPITE of the extra week of healing they felt the advantages of not sitting idle for a week and potentially playing in warm weather or domes outweighed the benefits if getting a bye (including being able to rest injured starters for an extra week). Sorry but that explaination doesn't ring true to me (not that u were one of the people arguing it would be better to not get a bye, I know u weren't)...

What if the Packers beat the Broncos in the Super Bowl?? - then my pre-season prediction would come true, and John Elway could go back to hunting the Purple Buffalo!!

What if the world ended on December 21st and the Packers were tied for the 2 seed. What then?

Haha I'm usually in general disagreement with Wilford's crushes. This one, not feeling it. Hope Solo, nope. And I don't get the hype over Mila Kunis either. (Would still hypothetically bang all except Hope Solo.)

Who I do think are hot include: Megan Fox, Keira Knightley, Minka Kelly.
