Suns View Beasley As Toxic

So word is Gentry is safe, but Beasley...... not so much. I just wonder what other team could possibly even entertain the idea of taking him on after the way that he flopped here! Im sure somebody will, as i thought the same about Hedo, and somehow we turned that situation around in our favor.

I think Beasley has been utter fail as a SF. He needs to play PF, and thats a place where we are just too damn deep to even think about playing him there.

Sayeth a source who has never had any Suns info at all.

I'll wait until someone with more cred comes along...or until Beas is traded or waived out of nowhere.

Dave King wrote:this is not news. I’ve never witnessed Beasley to be “toxic” and Scola was joking with him the other day a little bit when the press was in the locker room. He’s a good guy – he’s just really lost. So, “toxic” is an interesting word to use, unless its in context to the on-court play. Then yes, I totally agree.

Breaking news: "Suns realize Michael Beasley is actually Michael Beasley."

Took the Suns 6 months to realize something the rest of the league has known for a few years.

Paul Coro confirms that Beasley is "toxic"
:o
Paul Coro‏@paulcoro

@AndyJ0seph @careystephen No doubt. Not sure you need a source to say Beasley has been toxic. It has been evident in play, demeanor & talk.

Well...that's better, I guess.

Everyone knows Beas is dragging us down.

Still, "toxic" implies team cancer, and I don't see that from him. Even in Minny and Miami they seemed to like the guy personally.

Paul Coro ‏@paulcoro
@az_deuce If I knew of major changes, I would certainly report it.

Paul Coro ‏@paulcoro
@az_deuce It said "could lead" to major changes. It's possible, just like the opposite. Powell is a quality writer who knows the NBA well.

Paul Coro ‏@paulcoro
@careystephen "could lead to major changes" is a very safe possibility to mention after 7 losses in a row. It's all possible at this stage.

A comment on BSOTS that I think describes Beas pretty well

You ever work with a person who’s got a nice personality, easy to get along with, they seem like they’re sort of putting effort in, but they just aren’t getting the job done, and you always find yourself picking up their slack and trying to fix their F ups?

You don’t hate them, really, but it gets old having to cover for them constantly. I’d guess that’s what it’s like to have Beasley as a teammate.

If the Suns were only the picking up the slack of Beas he wouldn't be being overlooked so much. The problem is nobody is really holding their own on the team (exceptions of PJ, JON)

Man...Hard to believe Beasley has become a bad investment at 6mil/yr. At the time it was a really solid pickup for the money. Just shows how bad he has been, when that contract looks like a bad one.

Btw the way az_deuce is me.

He does a good job of responding when asked a decent question. I asked him about the hoopshype report that Shaun Powell tweeted. Then I said I didn't know who he was.

I always thought it was a stinker of a deal. Once again, we were essentially bidding against ourselves since nobody else had put their hands up to sign him.

Interesting comments by Babby via Kristofer Habbas
Babby would not quantify the teams interest level in making a move, but one thing he did state is that he does not want to wait until the trade deadline to make a move. The team would prefer to pull the trigger on a move sooner if there is a trade to make. The team is listening to inquiries and making calls however to gauge interest in potential moves with the current assets they have.

We were the only team to schedule a work out with him I think...

I don't think there is a way to get rid of him unless the suns eat his salary. Nobody is gonna give the suns a hundred dollar bill in exchange for a 5 dollar bill.

Where was this aggressiveness when we could have made a deal with OKC for Harden?
