Shearsy, i stopped reading after the first sentence, I forgot everyone on this board played college ball at one point or another (albiet I was a walk on, and only for two years, but at a D I school)

Yes...you are being a fan looking at the games through a fan's lens. Some posters are very knowledable actually, but many are wrong about simple elementary b ball knowledge. Mayo vs Harden is a hell of a lot closer than many on here are willing to admit, and the fact that Mayo is more efficient on the offensive end is totally ignored on this board...something fans tend to do

i think the funniest thing said was when someone said "actually, McGrady is> Dirk"

just goes to show the extent of b ball knowledge most posters have on this board, I am not even going to take my time to debate such a ludicrous statement

Mayo is more efficient through 20 games. Harden has been more efficient than Mayo throughout their career.

Do you understand sample size?

Yawn....you are reaching back in the past 4 years to find anything at all to support your argument.

Both players are in totally different situations with a different set of circumstances and variables. OJ mayo renounced his attitude problems this summer by saying some very harsh things "i've been acting like I'm already a star, but accomplishements from HS dont get you in the HOF"....he showed up 2 1/2 months early to work two a days with Carlisle.....by every account, he is turning himself around.

Everybody knows he struggled under Hollins, by bringing that up you are simply showing what he did a couple years ago when he was trying.to whine his way off the team, you are showing that is the only argument you have...understandably.
After half the season or even a full year, you are likely to still use that.same argument, by which time it will be completely irrelevant,.... as GM's will be offering him max contracts...or close to it

See what i.am talking about? He actually watched the.game and can't tell you the defensive schemes employed on.Mayo.

I graduated years ago....but Algebra UNO Einstein

Anyway, they were trapping him in his sweet spots, meaning he was doubled only in certain spots on the floor with their best defender shadowing him all night, usually Douglas. I was surprised they didn't employ a match up zone with Douglas on him...but I am sure McHale has his reasons....

Defenses have been treating him as the focal point of the Mav's offense for.quite some time now. Carlisle spoke.on that a few weeks ago whsn he struggled for a few games

Probably just over-parsing data, but since acquiring Fisher, Mayo's role in the offense was increased even further. Could easily be a fluke but from watching them play it seems to be related.

yeah, it basically meant oj got to initiate offense and handle the ball more instead of just watching collison overdribble

I suppose you have a difficult time readeing English then if there is nothing to respond to. Either that or you are truly blind to the points being made because you are a stubborn homer...which is becoming evident.
