Figured we could have a thread to discuss the NFC playoffs/possible matchups in this thread.
I like how it is shaping up right now. We'd host the Bears, then play at San Fran, leaving the Giants, who I believe to be our worst matchup, having to beat Seattle and then win at Atlanta. So assuming we can beat SF, we either travel to Atlanta or host NYG. Ideally, I'd like to miss both SF/NYG, but that isn't realistic.
I'd be fine with the Bears missing as well, although I don't really want to see RGIII in the playoffs, just a bad feeling there. Minny or Dallas catching Chicago would be fine.
Still some hope for the 2 seed if we win this weekend. Niners still travel to NE and to SEA, with both of those teams jockeying for playoff position.

Yeah, RG3 would remind me of the 2003 playoffs with Vick. He will have a coming out party but won't do much in round 2. Just don't want that first game.

Re: NFC Playoff Seeding/Lead-Up
Giants have 2 tough road games, Atlanta and Baltimore before finishing with Philly at home. I'd love for them to somehow miss the playoffs. No other team really worries me. San Fran I guess. I don't think they go 3-0 though, at NE, at Seattle, Arizona. If we win out we should be #2. With an outside shot at #1, Atlanta could go 1-2 and we'd have tie breaker based on conference record. Damn those f'n replacement refs.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yeah, I think if we win this week, we'll get #2.

Would love a bye to get healthy and then an uncharacteristically warm day at Lambeau for our first playoff game. If that occurred, I don't really care who our opponent is.
