That would be great. I'm not sure Phoenix would do the trade, but i would roll the dice on Beasley.

I don't actually believe my trade would happen, I just wanted to see if I was on to something. Personally, I think they would do it if they could dump a 3rd person.

I'm convinced Charlotte will at some point be part of a 3 team trade where the Bobcats "land" Chris Duhon and draft pick(s), Warrick goes to a 3rd team and the Lakers add bench help.

I'd trade straight expirings for him right now. If it doesn't work out, then oh, well, we tried. But Beasley is simply way too talented. All we have to do is on day 1 is tell him, if you don't get your act together, you're going home and staying there.

".....and you're getting a ton of money" They take Thomas, we take Beasley. Thomas is just an idiot who doesn't know how to utilize his talent, Beasley is being called a locker-room cancer.

Offer Gerald Henderson + Pistons 1st for Tyreke Evans

Offer Ramon Sessions + 2013 2nd Round for Derrick Favors

Offer Byron Mullens + Jeff Taylor for Anthony Randolph, Andre Miller, and a future 1st round Nuggets pick

Not some blockbuster 2k13 trades, but some that I researched and would have positive thoughts about. I believe it would be immediate improvement with just as much optimism for the future.

That deal for Favors is missing a few lottery picks from Charlotte.

Jordan Hill got 31 minutes on Sunday night and put up 17/9/4.

He is now at 6.3/5.4/.9 in 15.5 mpg.

Which is 14.6/12.5/2.1 per 36.

In his Lakers career, he is putting up 13/10.7/2.7 in 32 mpg in all games where he has gotten at least 30 minutes.

That is 14.6/12/3 per 36.

In his entire career, he is putting up 12.7/9.5/1.7 in 32 mpg in all games where he has gotten at least 30 minutes.

That is 14.3/10.7/1.9 per 36.

That is still an incredibly small sample size, but it leads me to believe that his per 36 #'s are a very accurate indication of the numbers that he would put up given more minutes. He will be a 12/10/2 big man when he gets 30+ mpg. That won't make him a star, but he will be a good starter for many years to come, but good luck with Mullens and his 3 pointers.

To be honest I think that we would have to offer Kemba, Hendo, and a couple picks just to make Utah even say hmmmm. So let's forget about Favors shall we.

Here in Realityville, we need to identify what the Cats have that another team wants. Our primary assets are (in order of importance):

1. Draft picks
2. Young high potential players that we would not deal in most scenarios (MKG, Kemba, maybe Biz).
3. An expiring contract big man
4. Henderson, Sessions, maybe Gordon

That's it folks. Some other players could be part of a deal, but anything we do of substance will require a player(s) and pick(s). I just don't see anybody on the radar at this point. We need a quality big in the worst way.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I think that our next major deal will envolve us moving some combination of 3/4. I don't see Cho moving any picks any time soon. I would be offering Gordon or Hendo(expiring) and or Diop/Williams (both expiring)around the league for a young big and or picks.

Just noticed that Drew Gooden suddenly played a game, and it was against Charlotte. Welcome to charlotte, please don't suck.

Why does it seem inevitable that he lands in Charlotte? I don't care whether he is any good or not. I only care about what we give up in the package, and what else we get. Diop for Drew and a pick would work for me.

I think that's the deal. The Bucks will probably give the Bobcats Drew Gooden & a protected 1st rounder for Diop. That makes sense for the Bucks because they want to get rid of the 3 years left on Gooden's contract for Diop's expiring so that they'll have enough cap space to retain Brandon Jennings as a RFA in the offseason. It works for the Bobcats because their current frontcourt situation is so horrible to the point that a very raw Biyombo is looked upon for dependency.

I don't think it would be horrible. Hes consistently put up good, but not great numbers. I was thinking more about getting someone on a short contract who could fill a void until a replacement was acquired. Hes in no way a solution.

Beasley, its a nice idea but I think there are too many risks involved.

One guy to watch is Glen Davis. If Orlando decides to cut ties with him/save money, I think Charlotte should go after him if/when its possible.

The way Walker has been playing this year I wouldn't give him to Utah straight up for Favors, let alone including Henderson and picks.

Glen Davis is pretty good and has played with some great mentors. He seems to take more pride in his defense than most players, too. Plus we're the bobcats, where are our fat guys?? All we have is Diop now that we've lost Sean May, Sherron Collins, and Boris Diaw.

Biyombo needs someone like Davis to play off of. They could, in theory, hide each others weaknesses.

What if they included Berks? Kemba and Henderson for Favors and Berks? All 4 players clearly have talent, and in terms or production we're giving up more but perhaps gaining more in potential.

Possibly. Hayward would be nice, but the Jazz would laugh then hangup.
