You act like he get's fouled every time he touches the ball. And even so he shot 60% from the strike tonight, he could have made a more concerted effort to get him the touches.

he pretty much did get fouled half the time he touched it. either on purpose or becuase they cant guard him. happens a lot honestly.

I'm differentiating the two. Its okay if he draws fouls because he's physically dominating opponents, at least we're getting him the ball. Some people just make it sound like he gets intentionally fouled every time he touches the ball.

If you watched the game, you saw that he got touches.. the 9 FGA is really misleading because if you get fouled on a missed FG, it doesn't count as an attempt. He got a lot of shooting fouls.

According to the pbp, he had 9 shooting fouls, no and1s. That means 18 of his 22FTs were on shot attempts. So basically he really got 18 FGA and 4FTs otherwise.

Yeap and Howard is usually the main cause for teams being in the penalty. When you add it all up, Howard gets plenty of touches, it just circumstances that Howard doesn't put up a lot of shot attempts.

On another message board a Knicks fan stated that with D'Antonni as coach and no point guard for them (pre lin) they played no real set offense and just let the guys do what they want.

I see him doing the same thing here. And the offense is getting worse. More isos and post ups and no ball movement. The offense now has become as big of problem as the defense to me.

And losing like this with Nash out is the worst thing that could happen in my mind. This team needed to prove they could win without him and have confidence doing so. That AND D'Antonni is starting to show signs of the behavior that got him into trouble in NY. Now everyone questioning him. Its not a good thing for the players in my mind.

The leaders need to start being leaders NOW! Howard needs to win the game with his hustle and defense. Kobe needs to do the same. These two guys are not getting it done for the TEAM! Sure, Kobe is scoring and genuinely doing well on offense. But what about putting forth the energy early in the game on D to make some plays and set the tone. Same with Howard.

Set the tone! They are not getting it done with their leadership and they need to start. I don't know if it is egos or what but they are the only hope. They have to put their own stuff aside. I'm not sure they can...

This is just a hot booty mess right now, starting to believe that even with Nash back this team is modest at best.

The bench is just God awful.
Ball so hard.
