The Indians traded outfielder Shin-Soo Choo to the Reds and acquired prized pitching prospect Trevor Bauer from the Diamondbacks on Tuesday night in a three-team deal involving nine players, according to an ESPN.com report.

Seems like a nice deal for the Indians if Bauer can pitch himself into their top 3

This is in the MLB Off-season thread, but whatever.

Time will tell who "wins" this trade, obviously. At the moment, though, the Indians and the Reds both did seemingly well in this trade. I thought Arizona could've gotten more for Bauer, even if they've soured on him for whatever reason, but I guess they think Gregorius will be pretty good (seems pretty similar to Hechavarria). If Stubbs and/or Bauer can improve their games, the Indians got a good return for Choo.
