Bradley Beal or Lou Williams

Who would you guys rather have?

Beal hit my waiver wire recently, and personally, i have been underwhelmed by lou williams this season. Should i stick it out with lou will, or take a flier on beal, who has been producing decently as of late.

Beal is shooting 35%. There's your answer.

Beal is also ranked 33rd this week, hence he has been playing better and has more upside than Lou IMO

True, Rookies can be unstable but that's why its a speculative grab. Lou Williams is a solid player but his upside is capped coming off the bench.

I don't think Beal plays worse than he has early in the season.

Sounds like you're just chasing upside to chase upside.

I think you go with Beal's upside too. I'd like to see him with on healthy Wizards team but we've seen what Lou can do on a healthy winning Hawks team. It will take injury to Korver and/or Harris for Lou to see some consistent minutes. They both may be streaky over the season but when Beal is on he'll fill the stat sheet better that Lou on a good day.

Well that settles it

edit: I know it sounds like I was being facetious but I wasn't. You're right, I was underrating Beal's upside.

too many questions with beal for my taste. if wall is out long term, i see him filling stat sheets but murdering your FG%. if wall comes back, he'll probably take better shots but who knows what it'll mean for his other stats?

and that's saying something compared to lou, who shoots 42% on the season and career. i just dont see beal even touching 40% with that backcourt so barren
