SMH. Casey and that 2 PG set are annoying to say the least.

This is a true PF. A defensive rebounding machine with an improved jumpshot.

I will laugh hard at Casey when Bargnani returns to the starting lineup in his first game back.

Interesting comparison, Davis does have that hard drop step a la ONeal, but I don't think defensively or athletically he's anywhere close to JO.

We'll see, because we've seen shades of Davis playing like he could be a defensive anchor in his rookie year.

There were a lot of questions about Davis' work ethic but I think this season he put those to rest. He's added an elbow game and improved his jumpshot a lot. Hopefully he can continue adding.

So do we lose in the final seconds or much sooner? Gotta prep ourselves.

So all we needed to do was not play bargs, Lowry and Amir to start playing like a team.

We will suffer another heartbreak loss due to refs but more importantly because of Casey's insistance on playing Lucas over Ross

Yep, a lot of us compared Ed to JO in Ed's rookie year. They both came in skinny, without a jump shot. Both are athletic as well.

Biggest difference between them is , JO is MUCH stronger. JO had the ability to back down shaq in the post.

Nets only have 37pts at the half with Bargs out.

Just wonderful

Knicks fans in this thread have nothing to worry about with the Nets. They're overrated. I mean come on, this is a team that is on the verge of seppuku this season and you can't dominate them?

Absolutely agreed. Davis might be my favorite Raptor at this point. You're dead on about the elbow jumpshot - saw it in the Houston summerleague game where he took over. I can't believe some posters were on here talking Davis down and how he was just another scrub. I agree wholeheartedly that he's the definition of a true PF, especially on offense and the glass, and while I think he's solid defensively - I was more alluding to JO's greatness as a defender/shotblocker than taking away from Davis' abilities.
