We are getting nothing out of the SF position. Even an average SF would be a huge boost to the team and it would even provide SPACING!

I just had a revelation...

What if the refs are being instructed by Stern to make the Raptors look as bad as possible to:

a) force BC's dismissal
b) allow us to win the lottery

Stern is just looking out for us.

Can we stop lumping Calderon and Bargnani together as a unit?

Bargnani is useless at D because he just doesn't give a damn. He treats defense like a teenager treats a chore. The only time he gets motivated and passionate is when his shot is dropping.

Calderon is useless on D because he's not athletically gifted, it isn't related to effort. You can tell it bothers him, resulting in him often trying to hedge to avoid getting burned, but that usually cascades into something worse.

The problem is that if he keeps this up while Lowry is out, you know Casey is going to run the 2 pg system more often. Need to find a coach who would give Calderon more burn, but not alongside Lowry. Think Lowry would be well served playing 28-30 minutes a game, keep him fresh and hopefully healthier, give Calderon the remaining 18-20. Gives Ross a chance to get his minutes as well.

I think this is realgms problem with jose. And it's realgms problem not joses. The mark of good pg play is not who drives the best

Has a lot more to do with how bad New Jersey has been. Giving up 10 assists in the half to a point guard that never penetrates is telling of horrible defense.
