^ Talk with everyone else about nowhere scenarios involving Kobe and the NBA Draft. And on how bad Jones and our bullpen is. That's what I'm doing.

The real problem is the team just isn't fun to watch. I mean, if we were 22-29 with a bunch of prospects and young guys (like Florida last year), at least they'd be entertaining and provide some hope. And at least we wouldn't be losing with such a high payroll. But the majority of our guys are only going to get worse, and watching these overpaid losers just sucks.

Guys, relax! Your team will turn it around soon enough, there's just too much talent...

I probably wouldn't watch this game if it wasn't on at 2:20. I have no problem wasting away the last half of my work day watching the Cubs, but given the way they're playing these days, they get none of my free time!

(kidding)

Go Cubs!

I was listening to Waddle and Silvy this morning, and Waddle spoke for me when he said the lineup should be-

Theriot
Murton
Lee
Soriano
Ramirez
Barrett
Derosa
Pie

Soriano has 12 RBI's for 136 million dollars? He does not belong in the leadoff spot. Murton has a good OBP.
Pie >>>>>> Jones + Pagan

Yes, that lineup is infintely better than any Lou has thrown out. I'd switch A-Ram and Alfonso, but that's it.

Mo Vaughn would score standing up.

I could score on Jones' arm with 2 broken legs.

He is an embarassment to baseball.

Typical Cubs baseball.

2 mis placed balls & the run comes around.

How is Soriano a defensive liability at the easiest position? For 136 million, is it too much to ask for him to not look like handicapped everytime he chases a ball?

It's left field! You're a great athlete! Why do you suck?!?!

Sadly he's played "good" defense to his standards up until this point.

It can only get worse.

Haha. I love how Len admits OBP is "probably" the most important stat for a leadoff hitter (great statistical breakthrough!), yet not once all season has he questioned Alfonso leading off. Because that would be against their policy of fellating Lou at every chance.
