OJ Mayo should probably drive a lot more.

my god Dallas has had and still has every opportunity to win this game, a double OT game is not a good thing for the Celtics after blowing a double digit 4th quarter lead

We are going to the Eastern Conference Finals. Miami sucks, they're overrated.

The Knicks need to start preparing for the Thunder in the finals.

The Hawks and Chicago are the two teams I could see as 3 seeds and honestly...I'm not impressed by either but who knows in the future.

This game just goes to show how important it is to have go to scorers...Dallas couldn't put anything on the board.

I'm not impressed by them either. The Knicks have this.

How do you think we match up against the Thunder?

Its December. Miami still is a major threat until proven otherwise.

LOL. I've been very cautious all summer up until now. There's something to be said about momentum, timing/opportunity/fate, focus, and having J.Kidd on your team. Melo trusts him like he did Billups. I know everyone read the "thank you" article written on Melo/Kidd after the Denver game...that's huge.

I know this OT, i'll stop.

Seriously that inbound pass. WTF, I'll be real pissed if I'm a Dallas fan.

I've watched the Grizzlies last few games, they're dropping off.

Not well...I think Westbrook would run over Felton and Durant is the rare talent that can go head to head with Melo. The two teams out West I'd be most worried about are the Grizz and Thunder. That said, I'm not saying we don't have a chance...but those two teams, I would give an edge over us in a 7 game series right now.

they had their chances, Van Gundy was right about the Mavs blowing their chance to win it at the end of the 4th when Fisher had a lane to drive to, rather then go for the shot the Mavs waited for the last second. If Jason Kidd is still on the Mavs they win that game, Carlisle knows it, Dirk knows it and Cuban knows it. It feels really good to have him.

we have title experince on the team though....Kidd, Chandler, Sheed would steady us in crunch time

and I'm sorry, not even being a homer, Melo would absolutely take Durants cookies in the post. There is no way his scrawny ass can stop Melo from bulldozing his way into the paint on every other play.

I think Melo would score on Durant well with his array of post moves but I also think Durant would be able to score on Melo with mid and long range J's. It would be an EPIC offensive show to watch them battle over a 7 game series. The hope for us would be in our depth though imo...Against a combo like Westbrook and Durant, you need more than any one player can offer.
