The key matchup is really Luol Deng vs Gerald Wallace.

We can go on a 60 game losing streak from here out and finish with a better record than in 2009-2010.

are we really 25th in offense and 29th in defense? good god i know we were on an awful slide with out lopez but thats pathetic.

Also, i havent seen the bulls play this year. on paper hinrich/bellinelli has to be one of if not the worst back court in the NBA. how in the world is their offense so good?

We need to clean up the rebounding from last night.

It's cuz they play as a team.

I a good part of their game against NYK in Chicago. They run a system and they do it pretty well.
Although I must admit, without Derrick Rose, they always look they're about to fall off the wagon but they manage to put it together collectively in most games.

The ORating and DRating for us in the OP is from last year.

We're 7th in ORating and 17th in DRating this year.

The Nets and Bulls always seem to play each other close regardless of who is suiting up for either team... I'll be surprised if this game ends any different.

(The most interesting matchup of this game will likely be Deron vs. Robinson, the Nets SHOULD pound the ball inside against him, but knowing Avery I think we could see a heavy does of C.J. Watson matched with Robinson neutralizing the Nets post-up advantage in that matchup.)

And the Bulls numbers are from last year as well...their ORating this year is 18th, and their DRating is 3rd.

As puke inducing Humphries play was last night, I think he needs to be in the starting lineup again.

My reasons why:

1. He plays better as a starter v. a reserve -- it's mentally messing with him big time

2. It will help increase his numbers (hopefully) and therefore increase his trade value

3. Now that Lopez is back, the bench mob must still be getting their minutes together

 I think it was more the resident goof Andray Blatche who wanted the name so badly.

oh, whats funny is people forget that it was originally the title of the Kings bench back in the early 2000's. Obviously way before Chicago and bky. these NBA players sure do have a limited imagination lol.

Bulls are 18th in offense. That isn't 'good'.

A win tonite would really put a hop in my step. 14-9 with 2 days off to prepare for utah and the knicks.

3 division games in the next 4 meetings after tonite. a win would really benefit the small cushion we have.

I really hope one of our guys goes off tonite. we could use a dwill/jj/brook monster game. or even just a role player dropping 20+

Bulls fan here...good luck tonight.

Be prepared for one of the ugliest games you have watched all year. I catch myself thinking in the middle of every game "I can't believe I am watching this and will continue to watch all of these games".

Unless the Bulls get hot, which is unlikely, this is going to be a low scoring brawl. Bulls will just play their hearts out on defense and try to hit enough shots to stay in the game. If Brooklyn is within 5 points or leading with less than 6 minutes left in the game than there is about a 90% chance they win. Sadly, the offense will either go through Nate Robinson or Joakim Noah down the stretch. They won't be able to keep up with JJ or DWill at the end.

Just don't think to yourself when the score is 33-30 with 2 minutes left in the half that "we should be dominating" or "we are playing terrible". That is just what the Bulls do to everyone. It is frustrating for both sides.
