Critique my highlight mini-movies (ft. Utah Jazz games)

Post#1 » by beefers1 » Sun Dec 16, 2012 1:34 am

Hi all,

I recently started making highlight videos of big games this season, featuring the Jazz. I'm fairly new to video editing, so constructive criticism would be nice. Here's one I made on Utah's big win over the Spurs on Wednesday, featuring Mo Williams' buzzer-beating 3-pointer.

Thanks!

i like it a lot. this is something that i'm really missing - a longer game summary that shows more than just 3-5 buckets for each team - ever since the NBA and Youtube got into business together it is harder to find. very good editing - good job

i wouldn't mind seeing another one like this of the win over the lakers.

The real decision the Jazz FO is making is between Continuity, Cap Flexibility, and Cash Considerations.

Thanks! Good to know that someone out there appreciates my work.

I did do one for the Lakers game, except it was exclusively about Enes Kanter's big performance that night. Being a full-time student in exam season, I don't always have time to make edited mini-movies so I have to focus on one aspect of a game, which in this case was Kanter.

that's awesome! kanter's moves where actually what was the most interesting to me in that game and what i wanted to see most (i missed both the spurs and lakers game). beefers1 to the rescue.

Think I'll be doing the Nets game next. I know it's a bit late, but I just finished exams so I should have a bit more time now. Any requests on specific features?

EDIT: Thanks Quantum!

It's really late, but I had exams all of last week. Anyway, I finally finished the Jazz @ Nets recap, enjoy. Thank you for watching, and merry Christmas everyone!

Orlando game should be up in a few days, but I'm quite busy so please bear with me if it's a little late again.
