Trades to be Title Contenders

Post#1 » by dukeknicksirish » Mon Dec 17, 2012 2:12 am

I have a question about what Houston needs in order to be title contender...

Would Bargnani help?
Would Calderon help?
Would Pau help?
Would Josh Smith help?

All of these players are listed on the trade block and I was wandering if any of them would help? If so, at what cost?

Lebron and Chris Bosh would push this team to contender status.

Durant and Westbrook would be alright.

Bargnani + Calderon + Pau + Josh Smith will not make a championship team either.

All names above are just laughable and stay the hell away from Smith! Well stay the away from all those players. There needs to be more then just one move to be a contender and by the way we are not even pretenders

i stopped reading after barg. not bargnani, but barg /green font

right now none of those names can make us contenders. maybe pau, but i wanna see if he can still play at a high level. that can take till like february

also future reference, NEVER PUT BARGNANI AND CONTENDERS IN THE SAME SENTENCE, NEVEEEEEEEEEER

out of boredom im gonna try to make a contending team with those 4 players

pg - cj watson /calderon
sg - thabs/ n young/calderon
sf - smith/n young
pf - love/bargs / smith
c - pau/ bargs/ezeli

thats a 9 man rotation factoring contracts. fill the roster out with w/e fits capwise, they only get minutes in blowouts or if injuries happen. on paper thats good playoff team

The only guy that might be available that could move Houston up a level is LaMarcus Alridge. Complete a three way trade moving Lin out and bringing Aldridge in. Then try to get a point guard in the draft who plays better off the ball and can defend and you'll be getting there.

If somehow, they traded Bargnani to here. I will cruse Morey for 1000 years. NOT even for a second round pick!
