Looks like it might be us and them unseating a couple of perennial playoff teams this year. Kinda just crept up there into the playoff picture.

man... rubio is fun as hell to watch though...

Just read the little article where he says that "Dwight is coming along..maturing..." That's typical Kobe, by saying this he is acting like Dwight is some kind of rookie or something...."coming along" what an ASS.

Don't see what's wrong with that. Dwight IS immature, and doesn't show a lot of intensity or emotion when they lose. And he's been a big part of some of their losses. In Stephen A Smith's interview with Kobe he elaborates on some of the stuff like Dwight's FTs and he NEEDS to start caring about the fact that he sucks. He can't be smiling and shaking his head when he misses, because he's costing his team games. I have no problem with Kobe calling out his current team's lack of intensity and focus. They are not all to blame as his defense and turnovers are a huge problem and his playmaking has been subpar, but he's the only one who seems to care right now in LA.

Yeah, Kobe is a jerk without a doubt but he's definitely got stripes to talk down to Dwight. Dwight acts like a 14 year old girl half the time whereas Kobe is fully mature and is a proven winner.

that said, if dwight didn't resign and blamed Kobe that would be comedy gold.

am I crazy or do the Clippers have the easiest schedule so far? It seems like every night I look up and they're playing another scrub team.

That is a tough basketball team. I think they are one dominant scorer away from being a top-5 team in the East (not saying much, but still) and if Harrington is out and has to retire, thats a huge blessing for them and their cap space.

Should be interesting to see them develop with those draft picks and young players. Hope they don't get another Grant Hill.

I hope CP3 stays with Clippers....Warriors and Clips are going to be a great nor cal so cal rivalry and it's great to know that Lakers won't be relevant any more.

Here is to hoping it's Warriors and Clippers playing some tough playoff series for the next 10 years :)

How is Blake Griffin's tomahawk dunk better than Barnes? I swear NBA.com is so bias for Blake Griffin.

I know. Ridiculous. Not over another guy and not even his best dunk.

If you saw his final shot against the Bobcats last night-- a fall away 22 footer with a man in his face-- it'd be easy to see why the guy is so reviled.

Random, unlikely prediction: Tonight is the night I think Rubio re-injures his knee. Running with OKC and trying to guard Westbrook in combination with coming back really soon from two torn knee ligaments is going to catch up to him.

Kobe's a fantastic basketball player, but as was mentioned he's a flawed talent. You need to build a team around him in two ways: to complement his game and to cover up his deficiencies as a leader. He's a j-off, of the Jordan variety.
