Really? What match can you remember him screwing up in? He is usually discussed as one of the best and certainly better than Lavigne, Mazagatti, or Miragliota.

Goddard's been pretty good. Dean, as discussed here regularly, is hit and miss and becoming more miss. Rosenthal is almost always solid. Kim Winslow has had some tough fights with near finishes lately and she's handled them well, though she does miss infractions like grabbing the fence... she is improving though. The rest are terrible.

Herb always stops fights a few seconds early and Rosenthal a few strikes late. If we could combine those two into bizarro Josh Herbenthal we may be onto something.

I don't remember any major Big John screwups. So despite the fact that "You gotta WORK!!!!!!" (in wheelchair guy from Family Guy voice) makes me cringe more than any other non-Dana phrase in mma, he may be the answer.

Yeah, none of those guys were particularly good. I always appreciate the neck tattoo guy, Keith Peterson. He refs the smaller guys, mostly.

Both Herb and Josh are really authoritative and sound, even if - yeah - they each lean on stoppages differently. I went with Rosenthal. He also makes some amazing calls, don't forget...noticing subtle things and understanding the game.

Rogan went after Mazagatti a bit last weekend, I appreciated that. He was laying back ridiculously and missed some infraction because of it.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.

I would have to go back and look, but Goddard is horrible. He let Palhares take about 3 unnecessary punches from Lomard.

Jason Herzog and Keith Peterson should have been in this poll.

I've seen this guy multiple times, but I've never truly appreciated this wonder until this gif. I think I'm usually fast-forwarding through whatever fight he's working.

I just happened to have watched a netflix documentary on this guy yesterday. This seems as appropriate a place as any to post...

And seeing as I'm in this thread, to answer the question, I picked Big John. Not that he officiated any memorable matches or did anything signifigant, but everyone else is just so damn incompetent. Big John wins each and every year until somebody else proves capable.
