It's amazing how well spoken he was and how knowledgeable he was about the game of basketball at age 19. It's going to be a sad day when he retires :( .

I remember that. Good interview, back when Kobe was a role-player... Didn't last long.

probably all depends on whether his team is still in a hunt to win a championship...it would help if he won this year or next year. hard to see him passing up the opportunity to pass mj

I like how a lot of guys say "Never in my wildest dreams did I think this would happen" and Kobe goes "yes this is my dream". Love the answers, he still has those facial expressions he makes but you could really hear the east coast accent coming through back then that's basically gone now

Cool. I wish management would get another SG prospect to learn from Kobe soon.

I bet playing behind Kobe would do the same as when Rogers played behind Farve
A PG prospect also.
Lakers are 22-3 in OT last 6 seasons:Kobe best OT closer!
