Ashby was my favorite Jays announcer. Not a big fan of Buck, but he doesn't annoy me like some. Can do without Wilner.

Wilner is a very smart guy. He knows his baseball. But he's such a jerk, which is actually something you dont want to be, especially in the field that he is in.

Would not mind Shulman.

Every time this year I heard Ashby mention Houston I'd swear I heard pining in his voice for the city. I can easily imagine him and Farrell talking about their dream jobs last year. It did seem like there were a few instances where Jerry's opinion and Ashby's opinion clashed in-game. But whatever .... always go for the dream job. Guess we won't hear as colour man next year.

Wilner definitely knows his baseball but that condescending tone won't be heard by just the listeners but Jerry too, I wonder how well those two get along. (?) 1 vote for Wilner.

2 votes for Hayhurst - he's quirky and can give pitching insight. They should give Hayhurst a go at it.

That would be pretty amazing if they somehow bring back Shulman! Obviously $ is an issue with him, so rogers should make him one that he can't refuse :D

They should have given Ashby Tabler's job and given Tabler a one way bus ticket to a destination of his choice.

Just rotate through the djf/gettingblanked/thatotherguy hipster douche types for colour. Jerry's calling the game and they're off on a tangent about Dimebag Darrell's legacy, the latest in skinny jeans or beard trimming paraphernalia, and yelling at the fans that they should only pay attention to the stats they say are worth something, then calling the fans vulgar names for not agreeing instantaneously. At least that train wreck would be amusing for a game or two.

As for Ashby, he was less offensively bad than some others, but I didn't find him anything special.

I used to listen to him occasionally on the Fan 590 (before and after games) but his tone and agenda shifted once he got "into trouble". Upon his return I cannot stand listening to his mix of yes-man and condescension

That`s my thoughts exactly. I can`t stand listening to Wilner`s tone anymore.

Mike Wilner should be fired the man does not respect fans and is ass kissing is ridiculous.

Allan Ashby going home I have no problem with since the producer promised him he can make a lateral move if Houston job opening comes up

7.5/11, too bad they'll probably find someone better, but I would've taken it if offered.
