In the playoffs, I doubt they beat the Patriots, Texans, Cincy, or Denver. I just don't see Flacco leading them anywhere. If they give the ball to Rice more, they'll have more of a chance.

They've still got the talent, but it's funny you post this while they're in the middle of their worst slump of the year. Right now I can't see them getting past Houston, Denver, or New England in the playoffs. Hell Cincinnati might surpass them for the division at this rate.

I would be a lot more inclined to agree if their defense was healthy, but it's missing three of its four best players and the one playing (Reed) has fallen off significantly as an all-around player. The offense can be good enough to overcome that, but it's asking a lot from that inconsistent unit.

The only way they get to the SB and beat NE or Houston is if they give the ball to Rice more and if Flacco plays like he did in the AFC championship game last season, which I doubt will happen the way he's playing now. Last year Eli declared he was elite and everyone laughed, he went out there and proved that he was elite; this year Flacco declared his eliteness and everyone laughed, difference between him and Eli is that Flucco has sucked it up since he declared that he was elite, and he's the reason they won't make the SB imo

joe flacco is not the sort of quarterback that would ever win the afc. not with guys like peyton and brady lurking. the ravens had probably their best chance of this era last season, and they came very close but essentially blew it.

Unlikely. They're backing their way into the playoffs, with a banged-up defense and an inconsistent (at best) offense.

Obviously, since you only have to win 4 games to become the champs, anything is possible if a team gets hot at the right time. But the Ravens are the opposite of hot right now.

HELL NO. I've been on the Denver bandwagon for some time now and I'm gonna stick by them. They're by far the most rounded team in the AFC. Pats are a close second; the only reason I discount them is because their secondary can be suspect at times because the lack of a consistent pass rush. Outside of maybe special teams there isn't one thing that Baltimore can do right; Flacco is inconsistent as hell, Ray Rice doesn't get enough touches, defense is no where on the same level as years past. A team without an identity isn't going to get anywhere in the postseason.

Denver is a tough team to get a read on. They haven't really beaten anyone of note this year and that's making them look better than they are. They could be a superbowl team, but it would surprise me.

i totally agree that it's tough to get a read on them. tomorrow against the ravens should be very telling. i'm not sure denver has what it takes to beat the patriots in an AFC game, should that be what turns out.
