I think it's part of the reason that he's been less aggressive at times in addition to choosing his battles (so he can avoid some of those hard fouls). I think he also wants to show that his mid-range work was not in vain.

his midrange game this year has been far more than just respectful. i don't think his defenders will leave him out there for very long at this rate

41% from 16-23ft. He was around 43% a couple of games ago.
53% from 10-16ft.

We lead 22-16 after the first quarter. We played ok, seemed like we could have played better

7 techs on Barnes. 9 more until a suspension. This is only game 25 and he sat out the first due to a suspension :nonono:

but i think it is part of his game. being an ass with refs and opposition gives him a mental edge to play his game well.
