Los Angeles Angels @Angels

Official - #Angels have acquired LHP Jason Vargas from Seattle in exchange for Kendrys Morales

think its good for both clubs. angels dont have to worry about having to re-sign a boras client, get a local guy in vargas.

Pretty solid deal for both sides, but I'd give the edge to Seattle.

The Angels free up the DH spot, so they can use Trumbo, Hamilton, and Pujols as a day off. Vargas had a good year last year, but his numbers sure did take a dip outside of Seattle.

Seattle gets a pretty good bat to add to a lineup without much pop.

Seattle shouldn't be done. They desperately need more offense.

They have some guys who look like they should be able to hit with Montero, Smoak, and Carp.

Smoak has been a huge disapointment. But yeah, they need something proven but it isn't out of the relm of possibility one of those guys steps up. I think Smoak is a bust, Montero could have a big sophomore season.
