Simple question, while only a few prospects will be affected, how do you think Buffalo feels about these trades after abandoning the Mets in favour of the Blue Jays?
While our AAA team won't be as strong this year, we still have a relatively healthy farm system. However I'm sure Buffalo was hoping to see immediate dividends this year.
Do you still plan on going to Buffalo to catch a game(s) after these trades?
Will you still be attending AAA games after these trades?

Re: The Aftermath of Trading of Prospects
Oh yeah, I'll be in Buffalo a few times this season. My school is closer to Buffalo than Toronto. We are still going to do better than the Mets did.

I likely will attend a few AAA games. Probably not for the prospects, but since the tickets should be cheaper, it'd be cool to get a seat behind home plate, etcetc.

The stadium in Buffalo has always been a place I would like to take in a game, so yes.

I won't rush there in the early part of the season, but likely in the May/June timeframe, which is also when I go to Niagara to tour some wineries.

Re: Will you still be attending AAA games after these trades
I posted this in the minor league thread, but since this thread was started, I thought I'd put it in again. I actually think they'll be a very good team in Buffalo this year, AA's made some solid minor league free agent signings to fill it out. The best AAA teams tend to be teams made up of a lot of minor league vets (who have some MLB experience), with a few young prospects mixed in there.
Here's how the team looks right now, by my best estimation:
Lineup:
CF Gose .286/.366/.785 34 SBs (AAA)
3B Velez .280/.358/.807 37 SBs (AAA)
1B Cooper .314/.395/.935 (AAA) - could start with the Jays (My preference at DH over Lind)
DH Jimenez .310/.394/.908 20 HRs (AAA)
RF Sierra .289/.360/.832 (AAA)
LF Nanita .306/.353/.818 (AAA)
SS Goins .289/.343/.751 (AA)
C Nickeas .364/.405/.905 22gms (AAA)
2B Negrych .264/.357/.748 (AAA)
Bench:
OF Langerhans (.815 OPS)
OF Carroll (.738 OPS) - Rule V pickup
INF McCoy
INF Zawadski
C ?
Rotation:
R Ortiz 13-6 3.45 ERA (AAA)
Germano 9-4 2.40 (AAA)
Vargas 7-1 3.69 (AAA)
Jenkins 5-9 4.96 (AA)
Pino 10-8 3.56 (AA)
Bullpen:
Wade 2-0 2.27 (AAA)
Thompson 4-2 3.34 (AAA)
J. Perez 4-2 3.60 (AAA)
Dyson 2-2 2.38 (AA)
Wagner 3-1 5.44 (AAA)
Crawford 1-4 6.83 (AAA)
Uviedo 5-3 2.97 (AA)
Carreno?
Possible Rule V pickups A. Jimenez and Nieves could make the 'pen as well. This area of the team needs a closer, but could have one based on the guys that don't crack the Jays' bullpen (Jeffress, Rogers, et al)
Other guys possibly joining the team at some point due to injury/ promotion:
P - Drabek, Hutchison, McGowan, Nolin, Stroman, Stilson, McGuire (if he gets back on track)
C - AJ Jimenez (anyone notice we're collecting Jimenez's in the minors now?)
2B - Schimpf
OF - Pillar, Glenn
I'm definitely going to catch as many games in Buffalo as possible, should be a solid team, we'll have some decent prospects there throughout the year, and it's a great ballpark to catch a game.
