The Mavs are 12-14 and have had a fairly easy schedule so far. I wouldn't consider them a capable team, especially with the poor halfcourt offense they displayed last night. It wasn't much of a challenge to keep them from scoring.

Im sorry, but the culture here is dissapointing. I thought it would at least change after we won a Championship with this group.

I'm with TheDon on this one. The threads swell when we struggle, but have been quiet on this little streak. It's fine. I just hope people realize the people hardest on our team this season are our own fans. One of the best records in franchise history, one of the top teams, healthy and visibly managing their effort for the postseason. The experts are all giving us the benefit of the doubt and assume we can turn it on. Yet, the ones worried the most are Heat fans. We have an embarrassment of riches with this team. It's nice. PEACE.

No complaining or bitching here, I'm just not gonna get overly excited about this win, just like I don't get overly anxious over every loss. A spanking by the Knicks obviously gets your temper up, but other than that, it's understandable that you're gonna have some very good and some bad games during the season. Tonight was solid, nothing else.

I'm not really one to call people out, but you really complain about other posters a lot dude. When people complain about games that we lose, you complain. When people don't complain about games we win, you complain. If people were complaining/nitpicking in games that we won, you'd probably be complaining then too. What do you want? Just complements all around? Since NYK, we've:

Beat the 5-20 Hornets
Beat the 15-8 Hawks
Lost to the 17-9 Warriors
Beat the 3-20 Wizards
Beat the 13-11 Wolves
Beat the 12-14 Mavericks

The only win worth mentioning is Atlanta. Other than that, I'm not sure what outflow of positive inspiration you're expecting.

If you're so keen to see some positive threads, make some dude. Rather than ragging on everyone for what they do or don't do, just do it yourself. Constantly complaining about how everyone but you is a bitter disappointment isn't going to make anyone change. When I get sick of reading people's crap, I just stop reading. Or I ignore it. Or I post in threads that I think matter. But constantly nagging like this isn't doing anyone any good.

Also I just want to add it's not so much the losing that gets people worked up, its the WAY they lose that gets folks mad. Anyone of us can deal with a hard fought loss, where you give it your all and the other team was just better that night. Honestly only one loss fits that mold and that was the game against the Clippers, you could argue the GS game as well.

Some of us actually like to discuss how we could improve our team when they're not playing well.

I just don't like posting here that much anymore cause this fanbase consists of a bunch of fairweathers that act as if we need to blow it up after some losses. On the other end of the spectrum we have a lot of posters that want to pretend that everything is okay and we don't have to worry about anything, which is just as annoying. We have the right to point out when our team isn't playing well and how we could improve. We're basketball fans... Not cheerleaders.

I mostly try to stay somewhere in the middle but its becoming harder to as the season progresses.

Honestly most of the posters here are quite reasonable, the only posters that overreact with "trade Wade" style comments are ballboys. then you got a few posters that overreact to the ballboys and get all defensive and act like every comment about the team needs to praise everyone in the Heat organization and if you're not in constant praise mode you're somhow "bashing" and "bitching" when in fact the real bitching is coming from them.

Just calm down, let everyone voice their opinions and stop bitching about other posters bithching (the irony) and stop telling people how they should or should not post and/or enjoy this team. some posters like to celebrate the Mavs win like we just won the championship, some other posters get worried when we have a bad quarter, most of us are in the middle..enjoying the ride in our own way. just let it be.
