Inglorious Basterds, Skyfall, The Shaw Shank Redemption,
I saw these within the week.
Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing, Doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before;

This has been purposefully misconstrued and sensationalized because Americans have an infatuation with the world ending within their lifetime. It's like a fundamentalist Christian notion. Kind of like that BS that dude with the billboards was spewing, people ate that **** up.

Mind you, I don't mean all Christians, just a certain group. There is a good documentary about it, the title escapes me currently.

i'd say its not just americans (although a lot of it is them)

but yeah i've been saying this for a while about the calendar starting over thing, its just like our calendars the world doesn't end every dec. 31st, we just start a new calendar the mayans just had a really long one

Oh definitely, I didn't mean to imply that. And not only Christians, to my knowledge there a lot of Muslims who subscribe to similar dogma.

I feel like I should because I didn't get sick once last year when I got it. I've already gotten sick a couple times this year but people keep telling me that I should avoid them because it helps build my immune system.

If you get the flu shot, you get the antibodies. If you get the flu, you get the antibodies. Immune system is built up either way. You just don't feel like **** after the flu shot.

Vaccinations help stop the spread of illnesses. If you get the shot, then you won't potentially get and spread that flu which could keep 100 other people who contact the same surfaces you touch from getting it which could keep 1000 people from getting it which could keep an old person from croaking.

I think.

I've never taken a virology course or microbiology course so I'm half talking out my ass.
