The losing streak will end.........maybe. How's that for certainty? I can see us playing well, as we are due to play a fully solid game anytime now, or we can get blown out. If we were coming off a night of rest, I'd feel better. But just played a hard game last night, fly to Denver and then have to play the Nuggets. Not sure we will have any legs to run tonight.

I watched the Denver - Portland game from Thursday night and god I hadn't seen anything like that in my whole life. Lawson made a mid-range jumper with 30 seconds left in the game which was the first and only time the Nuggets scored outside the paint. They went 0/21 from the three point line and broke the NBA record which previously belonged to the same Portland team (0/20).

I suppose we shouldn't have to worry about anybody lighting us up tonight, however, it would be very fitting for Gallinari to finally find his shot against us and hit 5+ threes.

I know fats has definitely touched upon this before, watching that game I caught myself thinking that the NBA today really does lack good shooting guards and swingmen. Batum shouldn't be a 50 mil player, however, there was no other choice for Portland than to pay him that much. There's a reason why teams like Memphis and Denver get constantly called as teams that would be for real, if they acquired a shooting guard who can score and play defense.

so Gordon and Hendo are out.

I guess Taylor will start, hopefully he can change his form. He's struggled since Hendo returned and he went back to the bench.

I worried about it once he had that bone spur thing with his hip. Part of the problem is that while you're out, your conditioning suffers and you can quickly rack up little nicks when you come back. But he was brought back fairly slowly. What's wrong this time?

did he get hit on the shin? that wouldn't be the result of being injury prone, really. and shin splints (however that's spelled) can be the result of poor conditioning (after an injury, for example)

got to denver at 2:45am, probably not to hotel until 3:45am

altitude over 5000 feet

therefore i just want to be entertained tonight with face pace, dunks, blocks and playing time for MKG, biz and adrien.
