I have a feeling you are NOT going to like this at all but...................(and I have only watched this one game of his).

A Lou Williams type is what I see.

That was a bit of an off night for him. First game against a really good defense. He'll grow as the season goes on, but his ceiling is insane.

I don't like his body. I could handle Beal being a little undersized because he is so thick. McLemore just seems slight. He's is springy, which is good, but he looks like he might be abused by bigger NBA off guards.

I need to see him 6 or so more times though.

You're not paying attention then. There's no way he'd have the stats he does if he wasn't wreaking havoc with his athleticism.

I haven't seen Gobert yet but I'm reluctant to add another foreign big to this team unless Rick Adelman is going to coach us. We've got enough "soft" finesse style bigs in Biz and Mullens for my taste.

I like McLemore but I'm not drinking the kool-aid as hard as some of you guys yet, maybe I'm just biased against 6-4 combo guard types. He's just not blowing me away so far.

I don't equate power to athleticism. And I certainly don't equate Bismack to soft/finesse either

Biz is soft.

Jason Maxiell is not.

McLemore looked pretty good but I still haven't seen enough of him playing to say he's the one.

Kind of lost in the fray in recent weeks is Shabazz. While their competition hasn't really been top shelf, he's been playing very well.

Averaging 21/4 over his last 5 games on percentages of 54/47/76.

It is like he is this years version of Bradley Beal, not feeling it. It was a nice alley I have to admit.

A taller, longer, bigger version of Monta would be a fantastic player. Especially considering McLemore actually has a brain and uses it for the betterment of the team. He doesn't have to be a bruiser to be a great player.

He's put on noticeable size since he was in high school

and has a frame that could handle more.

Let's just trade this years pick for Cousins. :wizard:

It is hard for me to agree with taking a guard and we are pretty loaded at that position but if we can get a post player(s) elsewhere then it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world.

Loaded? :o Loaded? We have lost 15 games in a row! While it would be my preference to go big this year with our pick and the Portland pick if we get it this team could improve at every position. That means the best player available

.

Not likely, but considering how much of a head case he is I would not give up anything valuable for him. Especially since he is probably acting up, because he is frustrated with loosing. We are not the best destination for someone with that issue.

There's a decent chance we will be getting Portland's pick this year.
Humble yourself.
