Sit Foye! after another lousy shooting nite his lack of scoring is getting rediculous. Put Burkes on second unit and Hayward to start. Also, Milsap on 2nd team! The current starting 5 are not good together!

Corbin is an idiot. When Burks has the sort of game Foye did tonight he gets numerous DNP-CDs in a row. When it happens to Foye, he gets starter minutes.

A one year rental is getting massive minutes over the #12 pick in the draft a year ago. Damn I hate Corbin so much.

Same thing that happens in the front court. Young players are asked to earn their minutes, but that's just talk since the starters won't lose any of theirs even if they play badly and put out little effort.

The thing is that we NEED Burks. We need him to develop now, because as bright as the future of this team seems, I'm not convinced that Hayward, Favors or Kanter will be consistent scoring leaders.

Burks has yet to prove the same, but the potential is clearly evident. I would be very disappointed to see Burks sign or get traded elsewhere and just thrive, while the Jazz' mancrush on Hayward never pays off.

I've been thinking the same thing. Burks is the only one that seems to have "it." Favors could become a consistent scorer, but only if he has a legit pick and roll partner to take advantage of his superior athletic ability.

I wasn't really a believer in having Burks play point guard at first. But now I'm kinda warming up to that idea. I think at this point Corbin should really give it a shot. He has everything you would want in a primary ball handler. The size, quickness, ball handling ability, ability to get to the basket and free throw line at will, a developing midrange and 3 point game, and above average vision. If Russell Westbrook can start at point guard in this league, and be top 3 in the league in assists while being technically a combo guard, I see no reason why Burks couldn't eventually grow into a nice blend of facilitator/scorer for our team. A Burks/Favors pick and roll tandem has the potential to be just filthy. In my opinion, Burks is leaps and bounds more of a threat in the pick and roll game than Hayward. I like Gordon a lot, but I'm losing faith in him as a number 2 type scorer that a lot of us have thought of him to be. He just doesn't have that confidence that Burks possesses, in order to be great.

Could you imagine a big, young, athletic lineup in the future of Kanter/Favors/?/Hayward/Burks? Just use our assets to get that big, young, athletic small forward that can lockdown every teams best player and hit open shots. I know, that player is rare. But it's more obtainable at this point than the true point guard we've been looking for.

We start only one shot creator and three minus defenders (also one average, and one plus defender). I don't know how you can defend our current lineup.

Double Al and force him baseline. Make Randy Foye put the ball on the floor.
