Just because you can't remember more than 2 games I can see that Felton is having a borderline all star season. Therefor I say stfu and gtfo
Thank you

He just needs to shoot less and he'll fit fine.

Think he'll get that by now, but ever since that Mia game this guy thinks he's Kobe Bryant with the way he plays.

He only passes to Tyson on lobs. For a guy as talented as he, I dont know why his court vision is so mediocre.

Im positive he'll make Amare look great on the pick n roll. He aint going anywhere so we might as well accept his flaws.

Apparently you all don't know what a pg does.

It's not about fg%

His assit to TO ratio is excellent, he plays strong D and half his misses are junk for Tyson to dunk.

Felton is playing hurt and, unlike certain other worshiped pgs in this league, never misses a game.

Felton may be shooting poorly but were sitting on 2 home losses all year and a 3rd in the league record of 20/7

Judge a points guard by his record, his assists, his TOs and his D before his shooting

Don't need to trade him just make him sit for 2-3 games, to heal.

a player has a stretch of a few bad games, and he's not wanted anymore. oh, and he's injured.

Judging him on all of that...he still isn't near all star level

anyone think that Houston may take him for Lin? since Lin isn't playing great this season, maybe they will take Felton, a board-line all star for a scrub as Lin.
What's sad to me is that we could have had them BOTH. Harvard learning from one of the GOAT.

Now we have Fat learning from Drunk.

His assists are down in the last stretch of games, his defense hasn't been inconsistent and the reason his TO are low is that he's not a playmaker. What's the diff between a few extra TO and missing a bunch of shots? Both times the ball goes to the other team.

Team is doing great but it feels like we have to overcome Felton every game recently.

And we've seen Felton play great for the start of the season last time he was here, and then what happened?

Damn, and you forgot the most important thing to evaluate when it comes to point guards: Decision-Making, which is a qualitative judgement. But we all know his decision-making is suspect and same with his actual PG skills. His D has also been suspect, and coincidentally, guard penetration has been a problem as of late between Kidd and Felton. Sure you can look at his assist to TO ratio and maybe a few other stats, but that doesn't tell the whole story. He can look like an all-star but there isn't any sort of consistency. He can look pretty terrible, too. He's serviceable, not necessarily all-star caliber.

Even if we are winning despite Felton, he isn't getting traded this soon, and especially without the team at near full capacity.

Now if he is playing like this with the team reasonably intact, then by all means after he heals up.

I think in one of the interviews, Felton said Woodson WANTED him to take the shots. Do you really think the head coach of the team will give no sh*t if he sees a mediocre PG taking so much shot attempts? Of course not.

But why is Woody being so persistent in utilizing Felton for offense? He had no other choices. Guys like Tyson and Novak can't create their own shot at all, Kidd and Prigioni is too afraid of taking jumpers other than 3's, Brewer is missing everything, Jr is as streaky as Felton himself, leaving only Melo as a all-around efficient scorer. Copeland you say? We have not seen much from him (and White) to tell if they're any good in terms of FG% as well.

In a team like NY with many iso oriented players, Felton could only do so much. Tries to create his own shot, taking it to the paint for contested layups or finding the big man for alley oop. I do not think he is an all-star PG, but the hate he's been receiving is horrendous. Especially when he isn't playing healthy.

Lmao Felton a "borderline all-star"? I think people are too quick to jump on him after a cold stretch, but let's not get delusional here.
