You asked who would want him, right? Fact is alot of teams would've wanted him for 4 mill. He chose the Knicks.

Just wondering, where did you get the notion that a lot of teams wanted him?

Yep he is at a good contract for what he brings to the table. A lot of teams would bite on that. Instead of overpaying for randoms.

I'm just saying find me a team that would want to trade to start Felton because he bitches when he has to back up the point... I can't think of any. Definitely not the Charlotte.. if they had an issue with Kemba starting they could just insert Sessions.

Doesn't logic dictate he is only getting paid $4M because there wasn't really a market for him? If a lot of teams wanted him, he would have been worth more.

trade felton? LOL

this is the worst thread i have seen on here in years.. just because he tends to chuck, doesn;t mean you ignore how well overall he has run the offense.. and dont act like he hasnt hit a number of big shots

btw

http://www.82games.com/1213/12NYK1.HTM

OP claims the team runs better without him, yet the numbers say otherwise AND this is against the team's first unit the majority of the time, unlike a guy like prigioni (who i like as well) getting a large chunk of his minutes vs the other team;s 2nd unit

and feltons clutch stats are just as good

awful post, just flat out awful.. the team is amongst the best in the nba at the moment and you want to trade the starting pg who overall has played well.. again, i cannot stress how unintelligent (to put it nicely) this idea is..

the only thing more surprising than the OPs awful idea is the fact that this thread wasnt locked before page 2

should have just titled this thread "i know a way to throw away the season"

You are talking about last year's fat out of shape Felton. This year he has proven to be a serviceable pg just like in every year of his career sans last year.

Yes teams would bite on 4mil per year for Felton this year. I agree with you that last year not so much.

You cant look at other teams you gotta look at you, what pg options did the Knicks have? CP3 was a pipe dream Felton is fine with the contract and the limited cap space.

Felton vs Lin. It's the new Gallo vs Melo. And we're only JUST getting started.

Mostly, it'll be where logic, reasoning and even handed debate go to die, and that's on both sides of the argument. Making logical points will be pissing in the breeze, only less refreshing.

Teams would love to get the production we're getting out of Felton for 4 million. Last year he had an off year, so he might not have had many offers, but if the Knicks were able to put him on waivers now - my guess a majority of teams would bid for him.

Anyone who even debates that Gallo is even in the same zip code as Melo needs to stop watching basketball because they obviously don't understand it.

As far as Lin vs Felton. Who cares. You know what Lin might one day be 10 times the player that Felton is good for him. He is gone. The past cannot be changed. He is not a Knick. Rockets forum is that way.

We have Felton for better or worse. He has been good for us until his injury. He is serviceable. Yes he absolutely needs to play better and make better decisions but to make threads like these just smh.

Felton is a fearless point guard who doesn't back down in big games, both Miami games are an example. Just because he hits a rough stretch doesn't mean he's useless.

If we traded players based on a bad 5 games stretch, we'd have traded all of our players by now.

Asking Felton to be the 1st or 2nd best scorer on the floor is tough. He needs better offensive help around him to look a little better.

He has bone bruises in both hands. Yet people want to trade him. Lol.

I think his decision making needs to improve but damn to trade him because of a rough stretch. lol just lol

What would NY want from Dallas or Miami?

A Felton-Collison swap?

As I've always said, Felton's fine. He'll do for this year and next. The offense is better off with him taking open shots than being tentative. The only thing that is starting to bother me a bit is that he seems to be easily frustrated and doesn't have the sense to calm the team down when things are going downhill. There's enough hot heads on this team. As the PG, I want him to be the coolest head out there. Even if we wanted to trade him, we're not getting back a starting PG for him.

Collison isn't even starting now though.
